PetSugar Street Team: Neo-Paws Keep Paws Good As New

If your dog's trudging through snow or scampering on icy sidewalks treated with salt, it's important to keep their paw pads protected.

If your dog's trudging through snow or scampering on icy sidewalks treated with salt, it's important to keep their paw pads protected. Granted this can look a bit silly to nondog owners, but it's important since the lime-rock or calcium chloride melts are poisonous to pets. Shoes prevent the risk of a pup cutting or licking his feet, but I can tell you from experience, it's hard to find ones that stay on! If you're in the market for a new set, the ones Reuben wears here come personally recommended by the Goldendoodle's human mom, Beaner, who says:

My husband did a bunch of research and other booties seemed too short. These Neo-Paws Regular Performance Dog Shoes ($34 and up per pair) have a long strip of velcro you can wrap around the dog's legs. They take a little more effort to get them on, but they're so worth it.

I'm happy knowing this pup's protected and love hearing firsthand reviews of your pets' product picks. If you've got great things to say about your furry friends' fave items, keep sharing them with PetSugar's Street Team!

PetSugar Street Team: Dublin Dogs Make DIY Baths Easier!

My pal likes to bring Io to the DIY bath station at a local pet shop but complained to me that her dog's collar always gets all wet (during the washing process) and smelly (during the drying process).

My pal likes to bring Io to the DIY bath station at a local pet shop but complained to me that her dog's collar always gets all wet (during the washing process) and smelly (during the drying process). So I recommended this chic Dublin Dog version instead.

Made of a polymer blend (read: rubbery), they don't absorb moisture, retain dirt, or harbor bacteria when they get soiled or soaked. There's quite the selection from shamrocked Lots o' Luck to swirly whirly Kaleidoscope and my prepster pup even has an Arrrgyle one in his collection. Whether you're taking a swimming trip to the beach or using it with bathing tethers right in your own tub, these collars make a great addition to the rotation!

PetSugar Street Team: Dogswell Sweet Potato Fries

There's a restaurant not too far from Sugar HQ that serves some amazing sweet potato fries.

There's a restaurant not too far from Sugar HQ that serves some amazing sweet potato fries. I could eat those things everyday! And although I'm not sure if these Dogswell Happy Hips Sweet Potato Fries ($7) are as good as Taylor's version, North seems to think they're pretty great nonetheless.

The best part about these Dogswell treats isn't the fact that they are chewy, and take longer to eat than normal treats (which keeps North occupied for longer), but that they are packed with natural ingredients, vitamins, and glucosamine, which are great for doggie and human joint health. Glucosamine helps to rebuild worn down joint cartilage that can cause arthritis in dogs of any age. Now, I'm not saying that I should start stealing North's treats, but considering that they are so much better for me than the fried option, I'll admit the thought has crossed my mind!

PetSugar Street Team: Bissell Pet Hair Eraser

As a prize for winning Cutest Dog at the Worldwide Fido Awards, Samson (and family) got to take home a brand new vacuum: the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser.

As a prize for winning Cutest Dog at the Worldwide Fido Awards, Samson (and family) got to take home a brand new vacuum: the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser. How appropriate! Coincidentally, LilPeaPod's Dirt Devil was on the fritz, so getting this vacuum ended up being a lifesaver in more than one respect:

My trusty Dirt Devil vacuum that we've had for a few years was on its last leg. We were considering buying a new one, but once we got to the Fido Awards, we found out that we got to take home a brand new Bissell vacuum! I was never so happy to get a cleaning appliance – this thing is a monster!

PetSugar Street Team: Porch Potty

While at the Worldwide Fido Awards in LA last week, Samson got to test out the Porch Potty, a sort of port-a-potty for dogs that lives on your porch. Since North is already potty trained, I wouldn't need something like this, but LilPeaPod says that it's a must have for puppies and older dogs alike!

PetSugar Street Team: Dog Smog Remedy

According to LilPeaPod, Samson's doggie breath doesn't always smell like roses.

According to LilPeaPod, Samson's doggie breath doesn't always smell like roses. And who doesn't have this problem? So when she went into her local pet shop looking for an all natural breath spray, she was ecstatic to find Happytails Dog Smog Remedy ($14) that "curtails emissions from both ends"! Why is this so exciting? Well, if you don't know bulldogs, they are known to have a bit of a noisy rear end.

I wanted an all natural breath spray for Samson, since brushing his teeth doesn't seem to be helping curb his doggie breath (his food has a pretty potent smell), and was more than happy to try the Dog Smog Remedy, since he seems to have a lot of air in his belly ever since we changed his food to a different brand.

PetSugar Street Team: Earthbath Puppy Shampoo

If there is one guarantee in life (well, besides death and taxes), it's that your dog is gonna get dirty.

If there is one guarantee in life (well, besides death and taxes), it's that your dog is gonna get dirty. . . and stinky. And, when you're a puppy, everything is new – it's totally fun (for him) to roll around in whatever's lying on the ground, which equals some serious bath time. With all the pet shampoos on the shelves, wading through the good and bad can be tough. But Sugar staffer LilPeaPod says there's at least one that she can count on: Earthbath:

I did tons of research before getting Samson, and even considered making my own shampoo. But, when I came back down to earth and realized I didn't have that much time, I went on the hunt for a natural brand. After talking with my local shop owner, I settled on Earthbath.

PetSugar Street Team: Outward Hounds Ride on Boats!

How cute is Sam?!

How cute is Sam?! The Wheaten Terrier already found her sea legs thanks to this Outward Hound lifejacket . . . even though she's just a puppy. It's never too early. The insulated vest does double-duty as a flotation device to keep a dog's head above water when swimming or grab the easy handle for quick rescues should she take an unexpected dive. Coming in five sizes ($16 and up) to fit most pups my friend, Traci, says:

Sam gets so excited when we pull it out because it means a boat ride or some watery fun. I'm surprised how well she has taken to the water. Terrier means "earth" so you'd think she'd be all about staying high and dry!

PetSugar Street Team: Turn Your Pillow Into a Dog Bed!

A pom pom hat on a pooch .

A pom pom hat on a pooch . . . ummm this is totally too cute for words! Thank you LoveRoars for alerting me to this fab Etsy find! All the sustainable gear is eco-friendly with most products, like these adoro coats, made of 100 percent fleece derived from recycled plastic!

It's hard for me to pick a fave, but if pressed the beds are hard to beat. In fact, it's an idea so ingenious, I wish I had thought of it myself! There are plenty of color options for the pillow pet bed base and blanket ($50). You may already be sighing at the additional cost of an insert but not for this one – it's meant to be filled with an old pillow. You've got a purpose for the reject and, since it smells like you, maybe it'll keep your pets off your bed, too! See the beds and more in the widget below.

PetSugar Street Team: Litter Robot

I'm imagining something pretty magical takes place inside this contraption!

I'm imagining something pretty magical takes place inside this contraption! First off, it looks like a kitty time machine, definitely not a litter box. I guess it's your feline's fecal matter getting zapped off somewhere in the Litter Robot II ($329). Different from those automatic boxes using a rake to autoclean, this product works with all types of litter and uses a sifting system to release waste into a special drawer that can be easily emptied. Perfect for techie homes but nonrobotics experts, the Litter Robot comes fully set up – just add litter, plug in, and say goodbye to daily scooping!

TeamSugar member becmonchu bought this product for her boyfriend's birthday and tells us that he absolutely loves it:

At first we thought the kitties wouldn't use it but they've taken a liking to it right away! It's a bit pricey but so very worth it for apartment dwellers and looks pretty cool even out on display.
