We can't stop following cute cats on Instagram, but perhaps the most photogenic are the smush-faced breeds. (And by photogenic, we mean adorably grumpy-looking.) Brachycephalic cats, including Exotic Shorthairs and Himalayans, are becoming increasingly popular Internet stars as photo-sharing owners proudly show off their furry companions. Maybe it's because they look like walking, meowing stuffed animals with their cartoonish features, but for whatever reason, the newest face of Instagram is smushed. Click on to ogle our favorites!
Let's say bonjour to the French Bulldog and check how many facts we know about this smushy breed. After you take the quiz, let's hear about your Frenchie friends in the comments below!Take the Quiz
We oohed and aahed over Hugh Jackman's adorable addition to the family back in December. Now it's time to take another look at a (slightly more) grown-up Dali! The pup and his pop were out for a walk in NYC yesterday, and the little frenchie is proving that he's still got it. Click through for more cuteness!
There were plenty of adorable pups (and kits) joining celebrity families this year, and you've named this French Bulldog the best of the best. I don't blame you — that's one adorable smooshy! Remember his waddle around town here. Congrats!
If you're treating a pet to special attire for your Christmas Day
pageant dinner, it's the perfect moment to snap photos for next year's holiday card so you don't start scrambling way before the season begins again.
North posed for this dress rehearsal before I picked the perfect spot with great lighting for our final shot. After all, the stage is already set with stockings up and presents partially unwrapped and a happily gifted pooch on hand, too.
Last year, Hugh Jackman and family expanded their brood with a baby Bulldog named JJ. Now, they've got a new Frenchie addition in this adorably tiny pup! Not only does he catch a lift from dad but he toddles around on his own for a bit . . . which is insanely cute.
Check out the shots below and congratulations to them!
With firsthand experience of a dog that barely squeezes past the legal limit for under-the-seat flying, I'd say this adorable Frenchie looks shockingly large, right? Even though Ashley Olsen is petite by comparison, most airlines have a weight limit of 20 pounds of pooch, including the bag he flies in.
While there are plenty of cute photos, none show the dog actually boarding (with no pet tote shown) so we could assume the pup was flying private, if he was flying at all. Still, for survey's sake, let's pretend the smooshy was on board: do you think this doggie could have comfortably fit under the seat or not?
I always take note of things I spot with a smooshy up front, but I rarely purchase them (unless I'm in a gas station in Florida). Still, I'm happily surprised to find several items that I'd be proud to pick up or get as a present. Naturally, as my lil North is a Boston Terrier, this I Can't Get Enough gifting series will kick off with his breed. A lil something for everyone, hopefully my pals can take a hint (wink wink).
