Bo Obama (and his human fam) spent a memorable weekend in Chicago for Memorial Day — lucky dog! While the presidential pup didn't spend this holiday working as he has in the past, and there was no parade in his honor, he seemed to enjoy a long walk about town as a pooch of leisure. I'm still wondering if the Portuguese Water Dog found time to take a dip, too, as his breed name implies.This sighting reveals yet another leash, which makes me think Bo boasts quite the collection to lead the way — see more of his walk through the Windy City in the gallery below.

In addition to Earth Day, today is Take Our Daughter (and Sons) to Work Day, where parents can bring children to learn about the jobs happening on that site. And, on hand to offer his expert opinion about what happens at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, was none other than Bo Obama.

While Michelle was trying to answer questions from children of Executive Office employees, the pooch was quick to try to bark all about his own doodies duties. How adorable. I mean, if the pup's this excited now, can you imagine his glee come Take Your Dog to Work Day?!

Bo looks like he'd definitely answer yes to the snow equals snack question, and from the looks of it, he's a regular snow bunny as well. The recent storms plaguing the East Coast are good news for pets who love the fluffy wet stuff but a sad story for those with picky potty habits. To switch up play habits in the banks, pick out a brightly colored ball to contrast or try throwing snowballs instead — get my drift?!

Bo showed off his holiday spirit with a jingling collar and tons of tricks for Oprah at the weekend's Christmas at the White House special. A high five? Pretty impressive, lil pup. If nothing else, I'm pleased to see I'm not the only one using happy puppy voice to speak to my pet! Lucky dog! First pooch Bo has a rotation of enviable leashes and collars — not only does he ♡ Obama but now he's showing off his true colors of red, white, and blue with a starry leash.
A White House staffer took the Portuguese Water Dog for a stroll around the South Lawn on Oct. 31 and I zoomed right in to find a pattern nearly identical. "Patriotic Stars" comes in collars (regular and martingale), harnesses or leashes in two lengths for $16 and up — are you getting stars in your eyes, too?

Sloooow down there, Bo — I wanna get a good look at you! We've seen both Barack and the girls taking care of the first pooch, and here's Michelle walking (or getting walked by) this cute pup. It's great to have a family of humans to chip in for the dog walking (especially for early morning or late night duties) but who's left holding the leash most often in your household?

How radical, I've found Bo Obama's Busy Buddy Squirrel Dude ($9)! The toy bounces wildly all over the place when tossed, due to the odd shape, but the tough rubber holds up to strong chompers after a pup chases it all over the place.

As a bonus, the busy buddy keeps your buddy busy with an opening on the bottom where you can insert kibble or tiny training treats if he needs a little playtime encouragement. Gnarly.

Welcome home — what better way to pass time than with the super-cute Bo! Sasha and Malia played with the pup while waiting for the presidential helicopter to land on the South Lawn yesterday and then the trio reunited with a group hug. (Group "awwww.")

I'm betting they shared tales of this cute pup while the president was off on official business, but Bo still shows his daddy love and support, sporting the same collar and leash set as we've seen before.

Ahh, for me, the saddest part of vacation is when it comes to an end but Bo Obama seems eager to scamper onboard on the way back to DC. After spending the week on Martha's Vineyard, he's heading back to his normal life at the White House — naturally via Air Force one, how else would a presidential pooch travel?!

Even though there was word of his very own doggie parade on the island when he arrived last week, the First Dog was a no-show to the big event. Oh well, I'm sure he was booked solid with fetching and frolicking with the girls — he looks as playful as ever coming for the camera like it's a yummy snack, hopefully one of those bags has treats inside!
