OK, so she's a canine serial killer. Normally, her MO is a quick kill. She goes straight for the seam and removes stuffing/squeakers with surgical precision, all in under 5 minutes. Her victims rarely know what hit them until it's too late, but fortunately they feel little pain in their demise. Tonight, Wilbur is proving to be a challenge, thanks to his double-stitched seams.

Coming straight from PalmPuppy's Etsy shop, I can't help but love this tiny stuffed Boston Terrier doll. Sure, he can't make calls, but he definitely makes me smile! And he's not the only one — there are a variety of plush and stuffed puppies (as well as buttons and other trinkets) for you to choose from as gifts for other dog lovers, or for yourself. You know, just because.

And check out the bulldog plushie! How adoro is that!? Each handmade plush doll comes in at around $30, which to some may seem a bit expensive, but can you really put a price tag on happiness? Well, can you?

There's something really fun about having a pillow shaped like a huge hambone. This is thinking of the folks behind Sweet Meats, an online pillow creator and retailer. Their sweet meats are available in several different types — including hambone, porky chop, and racka ribs — and they even sell instructions on how to make your own. Personally I'm a big fan of the t-shirt. What meat lover wouldn't want a cute pink tee with the words "Meat is Sweet" ($14.99) emblazoned on it?

This year I saw their booth at Maker Faire, and while it wasn't the first time I'd seen them, I wanted to make sure you got to see them too.

Although no one is quite sure why catnip has the effect it does on some cats, it sure does make them happy! My BFF's cat has been known to completely ignore us (which is unusual for the feline) while rolling around on the floor and salivating while he plays with his fave catnip ball. Although it never lasts too long, the few minutes he's under the spell is pretty entertaining for us as well!

I really love these Catnip Plush Birds ($16) by ItchyKnee, which are hand stitched and stuffed with organic catnip. And what cat wouldn't feel the same?! Chasing birds, catnip, and a catnap has to be a pretty awesome way to spend an afternoon . . . if you're a cat. But hey, even I don't mind the sound of that!

With the launch of SavvySugar, it's about time to get smart about North's credit! That kibble doesn't come cheap, and I can't keep spotting him at Petco as he promises to pay me back in kisses! Totally joking, but am I the only one that recalls the guy who got so annoyed with credit-card offers that he filled one out for his Clifford J. Dog, son of Pugsy Malone, as a joke . . . and actually got a card issued? Clearly I found it so funny (and disturbing) that it stuck in my head nearly four years later.
