Bare Bones: Aud & M Leather Clutch

When North and I head out of town for a quick getaway, I need an extra tote to lug all his stuff around in!

When North and I head out of town for a quick getaway, I need an extra tote to lug all his stuff around in! Food, treats, poop bags, eye wipes, and toys are just a few essentials that I end up carrying in one of my bags. But thankfully, I don't have to shop at a baby supply store to find a nice "diaper bag" for all of my pup's stuff.

Aud & M's leather clutch is the perfect size for all of North's overnight things, and they come in a range of cool colors to suit your taste. Hey, I'm a fashionable gal, and there's no reason that my doggie's goods should be tossed in something that doesn't go with my new Fall coat. Since Aud & M doesn't have an online store, check your local pet shop for products and prices!

Do You Shop at Big Retailers or Small Shops?

There are so many boutique shops offering truly unique treats and goodies for pets but, at some of these places, the prices can get a little steep.

There are so many boutique shops offering truly unique treats and goodies for pets but, at some of these places, the prices can get a little steep. I've been known to breeze into a big retailer once in awhile for the same items at a lower cost, but generally, I try to support the local shops around my area.

Which do you do more - shop at big pet suppliers, or patronize small local shops?

Do You Cruise Craigslist For Pet Supplies or Services?

I'm a big fan of re-purposing old, beat up items and turning them into something great.

I'm a big fan of re-purposing old, beat up items and turning them into something great. Since Craigslist is like a big 'ole virtual yard sale, I can pick up some pretty cool furniture pieces and things I never would find elsewhere to add to my home. However, I don't really go into the pet section on CL, mostly because I bought all of North's things new and I haven't really seen the need.

But, upon checking it out the other day, I saw that there were bunches of pet supplies either up for sale or for free. Additionally, there were tons of dog walker and pet sitter service listings in my area that I hadn't seen in the paper. So it got me to wondering: how many of you have used Craigslist to find pet services or supplies?
