As my mom would say, "Honey, you can't predict an emergency, but you can plan for it." Well, I'm trying to work on being more prepared, and what better way to get a life in order than to make sure all of my pet's information is up to date and that I've got all the key things on hand just in case . . . 'cause "just in case" doesn't leave time for extra planning. See what 15 items I've stocked when you start this slideshow.
Everyone wants to keep their pups safe, and PetSugar member OhMaxine recently asked a great question: do you ever drive around with the window down for your dog? Here's what she says:
How do you feel about rolling down the window with your dog in the car? I rarely ever do it, and when I do it's only in my neighborhood with the window rolled down half way. I'm so worried Maxine will jump out... even though she probably can't even fit through the little space I give her. When my mom was sixteen her small dog jumped out of the window and was run over. I just couldn't imagine how terrible I would feel if something were to happen to Max while in my car. Has anyone ever had their dog jump out?
