PetSugar: When did you get your dog and what's her breed?
jgmast: Kylie Mae is a Siberian Husky and was a Christmas gift to Kate in 2005. They have been inseparable ever since.

PetSugar: What's your daily doggie routine?
jgmast: Kylie Mae has her routine down pat. Every morning she makes laps around each side of the bed pacing and watching for any sign of movement. The second one of us flinches she leaps on the bed and dives between us for some morning time snuggles. During the day she has free roam of the house doing all sorts of secret doggie things. Literally, we have no idea what she does, and she won't tell us either. At bedtime, it never fails Kylie is the first one there to claim a pillow and the best spot on the bed. However even after a long day it's hard to resist a sweet, snoring fluffaluffagus in your bed.

Pet Profiles: Precious Penelope Loves Her Parents

Reader MandyWH tells tales of her pretty kitty Penelope in our Pet Profiles series.

PetSugar: When did you get your cat and what's her breed?
MandyWH: We got Penelope in June of 2008. A friend had taken in a stray cat, who turned out to be pregnant, so she suddenly had lots of kitties to find homes for! Penny's a medium-haired calico, like her mom. She's also the softest cat ever.

PetSugar: What's your daily kitty routine?
MandyWH: Penny's so different from any other cat I’ve had — our routine is her routine. She gets up when we do in the morning, hangs out in the bathroom while I put on makeup, and stretches out on the kitchen floor while I make coffee and breakfast. She naps a ton during the day — she is a cat, after all — and then gets super playful in the evening, running around the house chasing toys and bugs. Then when we go to bed, she follows us in and either hops into bed with us or curls up in her own kitty bed nearby.

Pet Profiles: FitSugar's Bonnie Loves Bread and the Beach

Resident health expert FitSugar shares a little about her beloved Bonnie Pet Profiles series.

Resident health expert FitSugar shares a little about her beloved Bonnie Pet Profiles series. Chronicle your own pet tales in our Pet Profiles group!

PetSugar: When did you get your dog and what's her breed?
FitSugar: My husband, then boyfriend, and I adopted Bonnie in 1999. She was 10 months old. We call her an American Black Dog of casual breeding — part chow (spots on tongue to prove it), part lab, and maybe part pit bull.

PetSugar: What's your daily doggie routine?
FitSugar: Bonnie’s life before I had kids was a bit more active. Now she wakes up and goes out in the yard. Chases some squirrels. Barks once to come inside. Hates to have her feet wiped. Howls softly for her food. Looks at the bowl funny until I add some olive oil. Then she sleeps. The dog walker comes twice a week for long romps on the beach or in the woods. In the evening, Bonnie likes to troll for food under the table after eating kibble from her own dish and take a stroll around the block for some good sniffs.

Pet Profiles: Clever Camden Is a Husky Crate Escape Artist

PetSugar: When did you get your dog and what's his breed?
jgmast: Camden is a Siberian Husky and he was a Christmas gift this year from my fiancé. He is halfway through his puppy-hood at six months old.

PetSugar: What's your daily doggie routine?
jgmast: More often than I would like our routine starts at three am with a whimper from Mr. Camden's crate, letting us know that he needs an emergency bathroom trip in the middle of the night. After sneaking in a few more hours of sleep we get up and go for a walk before I head into the city for work. The moment we come home from work and open the front door we are greeted with a song full of howling and chewbacca-ing (which is how my fiancé refers to his guttural Husky Howling), and we are off for another walk followed by dinner and a short nap (waiting for us to get home all day is exhausting!). The evening is spent chasing our other Husky around the house and biting her tail, watching TV (After seeing his fellow Huskies in the movie 8 Below he is now enthralled with the TV), and lounging on the couch.

Reader Beaner shared some fun facts about her favorite furry face as part of our Pet Profiles series. Share your own pet tales in our Pet Profiles group!

PetSugar: When did you get your dog and what's his breed?
Beaner: We got Reuben in September 2008 as a wedding present to ourselves. He's a Goldendoodle, and we thought he was going to be much bigger (he's just under 35 pounds). I have bad allergies and asthma, and I've had no reaction to him whatsoever.

PetSugar: What's your daily doggie routine?
Beaner: We get up and he chases squirrels in our fenced-in backyard before he has breakfast. Mid-morning, we go for 30-minute run in the woods or an hour-long long walk around the neighborhood. After that, we pick up his best friend Colby, an 80-pound black Goldendoodle, and they run around our backyard.

PetSugar: What's your dog’s favorite food, pastime, and treat?
Beaner: Reuben loves ice cream. Every so often, I go get a creemee down the street, and I save him the very end of the cone. I've never seen his tongue move so fast! If we let him, he'd dig all day long in between chasing squirrels. He also loves to play with other dogs. His favorite dog treat are those dried sweet potatoes.

Beauty expert and classy Catwoman — in that meowww kinda way — BellaSugar explains just how two-riffic life is with her couple of cuties for our Pet Profiles series. Share your own pet tales in our Pet Profiles group!

PetSugar: When did you get your cats and what are their breeds?
BellaSugar: I adopted Minou on December 31, 2005. He was a wonderful way to bring in a new year. He's a tabby from the tough streets of Chicago. A few months later, wee Milo came along. He's a Munchkin, which is a breed with short legs. He definitely has a Napoleon complex.

PetSugar: What's your daily cat routine?
BellaSugar: Milo is my alarm clock. He saunters through the house around 6am, meowing until he wakes me. It's cute and annoying at the same time. Then both cats get on the bed and demand attention. The moment my feet hit the floor, they whine until they're fed. Then there is litter to be cleaned. It's very glamorous, all of it.

PetSugar: What's your cat’s favorite food, pastime, and treat?
BellaSugar: The boys' palates are not so sophisticated. They prefer dry food to wet, unlike most cats I've known. Sometimes they get crazy and have some tuna. Lately, they are obsessed with the mosquito hawks in the apartment. Minou chirps at them a lot, but both cats are not the most effective hunters.

Pet Profiles: All About Angela1791's Doggie Dylan

Raising a pet takes a lot of hard work, patience, and plenty of love.

Raising a pet takes a lot of hard work, patience, and plenty of love. Reader Angela1791 recently gushed about the good life with her doggie, Dylan.

PetSugar: When did you get your dog and what's his breed? Angela1791: We got Dylan in December 2006 as an early Christmas gift. He is four years and five months old and a Toy Australian Shepherd. He's a Red Merle in coloring.

PetSugar: What's your daily doggie routine?
Angela1791: We live in the city and do not have a backyard so Dylan goes on a morning walk. Then while we are at work he plays around the house and sleeps. He really loves to be challenged and loved his Puppy Agility class. His new toy that he plays with during work is the Star Mark Everlasting Fun Ball, which allows him the opportunity to use his problem solving skills to get the treat out. He will play with it for hours. When we get home from work we go on a really long walk or walk/run. At night he loves to play with his favorite toy frog.

What makes Dylan really happy? Keep reading after the jump.
