Très chic! I'm smitten with Studio Legohead's dog illustrations! Not only does she have adorable painted postcards and greeting cards featuring stylishly dressed pups, she also does custom pet portraits. My personal pick would have to be the Pooch in Pucci card ($4), but take a look at more of her work and tell me which one catches your eye! Bowties, pearls, and hats, oh my!
Animals and Art: San Francisco SPCA Teams Up With Local Art Gallery
Animal lovers and art fans alike gathered at the San Francisco-based gallery/boutique Modern Eden, for the opening of new exhibit "Menagerie." The animal-inspired show included everything from contemporary paintings of Poodles and Pomeranians to sketches of French Bulldogs and Great Danes.

Our furry friends weren’t the only muses though; among the cuddly critters were plenty of snakes, birds, and crabs. The best part (aside from the great art, of course) is that a percentage of the proceeds goes to the San Francisco SPCA. For those pet/art lovers still on the hunt for the perfect piece, these are a creative way to show your animal appreciation.
Will That Furry Friend Be My Valentine?
Valentine's Day bring back memories of elementary school — agonizing over the perfect set of cards and the perfect greeting for besties and crushes alike. Even though it's been quite some time since I've handed out a set of notes on Feb. 14, my stationery kick led me on a virtual love hunt for pretty prints.
Lucky for both of us, there are plenty of cute choices on Etsy, so I've rounded up my favorites in a widget below to offer some ideas for selecting cupid's calling cards of your very own.
Is Your Dog a Party Animal?
Have you ever been out on the town and suddenly found yourself wishing your dog was there with you? Say goodbye to pet separation anxiety, because now you can party with your pooch at the Manhattan-based venue Fetch Club. Your pup can sip from complimentary bowls of Sauvignon Bark or Pinot Leasheo, while you dance the night away with fellow dog owners.
According to one dog owner, this is a great way to get out of the house: “I just end up staying home and drinking wine because I don’t want to leave my Maltese alone.” I’m all for pet play dates, but not sure my doggy is a party animal. Would your dog like this disco?
Do Tell: Ever Had to Choose Between a Pet or Significant Other?
It seems as if some pet owners have a serious case of puppy love. A recent poll by AP-Petside.com revealed that 14 percent of pet owners would choose their furry friend over a significant other.

The study polled 1,501 adults including 1,000 pet owners, and found that unmarried pet owners are more likely to pick their pet. A loyal dog owner explained: “I’ve had numerous relationships with women, but my dog has never let me down.” The poll also noted that owners in urban areas, as well as women, found the decision more difficult than men and owners in suburban or rural areas.
Choosing between a pet and someone you love is a tough call, even if it is only hypothetical. Have you ever had to choose?

Do Tell: Where Is Your Pet's Preferred Resting Place Other Than a Bed?
Naturally, someone laid these puppies down to rest like this, but how adorable! Last week, my pooch chose to sleep in a low dresser drawer that I hastily left open one morning, and he can't ever resist a laundry pile as I'm sorting away.
