With a slightly shorter coat than he wore on last August's Vineyard trip, Bo proudly prances off the plane, all eyes on him! The Obamas will be in Vineyard Haven until Aug. 29, so here's hoping we see more of the pooch — like a second annual presidential puppy parade! — but, 'til then, there are more photos of the first dog below!

Sienna and Bess Have a Girls' Day Out

Just two gals out for a Fall stroll, nothing to see here.

Just two gals out for a Fall stroll, nothing to see here. Oh, who I am kidding, I'm happy to see so much of Sienna and Bess stateside, with her favorite red leash! I'm missing Porgy, but are you secretly hoping he's home with Jude?
Whether or not they're sharing custody, or if she's just not a fan of juggling two leashes, I hope her other dog has an equally fancy leash — while a vegetable-dyed, Eco-Leather Flat Stitch Lead ($26) in red looks smashing against dark fur, I think the lighter-colored pup would look dashing in a forest green hue to make the color pop!

Found! January Jones's Roped Leash

This shaggy black dog sports a rosy lead with his leading lady mom, Mad Men star, January Jones, aww!

This shaggy black dog sports a rosy lead with his leading lady mom, Mad Men star, January Jones, aww! While you may not be a fan of matchy-matchy leashes for your pet, the lucky dog has a fancy leash that coordinates with a pretty and pink purse . . . and I've sniffed it out.

The Aspen Pet Mountain Dog Leash ($23) is extra durable, with the rope style extending to the handle to make it a comfortable option for your hiking adventures and it comes in red, black, or blue combos in addition to the pink and gray style that January carries.

As season three of the popular series wrapped up last night, perhaps she'll have a bit of a break for more furry QT with this adorable dog in the coming months — check out more pics of the duo below.

Don't worry, these pics are from the set of a music video — no doggies were actually harmed! Songstress Alicia Keys, recorded "Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart" featuring this furry scene from her upcoming fourth album on Friday.

The pooch sports a couple collars with a super-chunky, braided-orange one on top — Get a similar, slimmer styles in tangerine (chocolate, white or aqua) from Wagwear for $22 and a matching leash ($34), too. And, of course, peep at the rest of the pics below.

Do Tell: What's Your Take on Taxidermy?

I didn't catch the 2009 Daytime Emmy Awards last night on TV, but I did stumble upon this photo today: a soap star holding a . . . stuffed cat. My web research reveals that Stacy Haiduk plays a delusional Mary Jane Benson (aka., Patty Williams after a facelift) on The Young and the Restless, and frequently confides in her cat, "Kitty."

So, naturally (unnaturally?), the actress chose to bring one of the prop cats to the ceremony — what looks like once-living, now-stuffed model is her date on the red carpet. I'm both captivated and creeped out by how lifelike this feline looks — I'd love to hear your takes on taxidermy in the comments below!

Noah Carries His Ball While Zachary Quinto Takes the Bags

I know most dogs are super excited for walk time, and Noah's so into it, he's got his toy, too!

I know most dogs are super excited for walk time, and Noah's so into it, he's got his toy, too! Can't forget a ball for impromptu fetch games, after all. This cute Irish Wolfhound/Airedale Terrier mix had a standard-sized yellow tennie tucked in his teeth as this twosome strolled around LA over the weekend.

It's nice to see Zachary Quinto modeling good dog ownership with blue poop bags and a holder, but I wonder if they stopped at a park to play or if Noah hasn't worked on drop it yet. Either way, there are more cute piccys to check out below!

Mischa and Ziggy Take a Flexi(ble) Flight to The Beautiful Life

What better flying companion than a pooch!

What better flying companion than a pooch! Mischa Barton took off from LA with best pal, Ziggy, on their way to begin filming The Beautiful Life in NYC.

Sadly we can't see the surely stylin' collar, but I do spot what looks like an older model Flexi for her tiny Tibetan Spaniel — the retractable leads come in a rainbow of colors with cord or tape models available. Since they're in public, Mischa keeps the pooch on a short leash, but these range up to 26 feet long! If you're still unsure about the controversial style, check out more pictures of the twosome's JFK arrival below.

To The Rescue: Think Like Goldilocks When Picking Collars

At first glance, I though Chris Henchy was holding this pooch by a Martingale since there was so much excess material.

At first glance, I though Chris Henchy was holding this pooch by a Martingale since there was so much excess material. But, when zooming it, it's clear that the Shields-Henchy pet has a rather large collar. Eeks!

While it's important to not be too tight (since that can irritate the skin, restrict breathing, or even cause hair loss in the area), attaching a loose collar can let pups slip away.

If you're in the market for a new one, here are some things to remember before you hit the stores:

  • Measure your dog first, especially if he's not shopping alongside you. Since collars should fit the dog's neck, use a tape measure to check the diameter a couple inches above his shoulder blades.
