We are officially in love with Uggie, star of The Artist and Sunday's Golden Globe Awards, but he certainly isn't the first red carpet creature feature. Past premieres and award shows have played host to a zoo-full of critters, including dogs, horses, penguins, pigs, and more. We can't get enough of these glitzy pups and glamour pusses so we've rounded up 15 of our other favorite red carpet animal moments of all time.
This weekend, Joey the horse "actor" made an appearance at the London premiere of War Horse. This adorable horse trotted proudly down the red carpet to celebrate the film. Click through to see more of Joey and to learn more trivia about the horses used in War Horse.
This picture is simply aww-dorable, but it's time for you to fill in the blank! These two Przewalski horses share a tender moment as they nuzzle one another. Offer up a funny saying or quote or what you think these horses are thinking, feeling, or doing in this picture. We'll round up our favorite responses, and publish them next week.

If you've never been to Iceland, there's a good chance you've never seen one of these Icelandic horses up close. After all, by law, no imported horses are allowed in and, once a horse leaves, it can never return. Lucky for us, BellaSugar took off for Iceland to check out an awesome spa and snapped these photos while she was there.Ranging from 730 – 840 pounds and around 54 inches high, they have short legs, just like BellaSugar's beloved munchkin kitty, Milo! While we'd consider them pony-sized in the US, Icelandics are always called horses possibly because of the breed's spirited temperament and large personality . . . and the lack of a word in Icelandic for "pony." Let's just agree and call them cute.

Celebrity hair stylist Sally Hershberger has listed her 3-bedroom, 5-bath, 1960 Beverly Hills home on the market for $5.5 million. Aside from the stunning, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Hollywood Hills, I couldn't help but notice that Sally has a major thing for horsies. In perhaps the two most prominent spots in her home — above the master bed and the dining table — she proudly displays two pieces of horse artwork. The photographs (or paintings?) aren't necessarily equestrian, but she is from Kansas, so maybe she is a horse rider. In any case, it's intriguing to see this side of her personality revealed.
Do you own any horse artwork? If so, why? Do you just think they're pretty or is horse riding a hobby of yours?
We may know a thing or two about crazy dog names and even crazy cat names, but Zootoo rounded up the top registered pet names for other animals from horses and hamsters to fishes and ferrets. If you've ever owned different creatures (or need inspiration for future, less traditional pets), check out the findings for eight species and my special additions to each list.

What little girl doesn't love horse movies? I know I did when I was young (who am I kidding, I still love them!), and so did my fellow Sugar Staffers. I asked them to send me their favorite movies that star horses (or ones where horses play a big part in the film), and we came up with a pretty big list of must-sees for any horse fan. Now it's time for you to find out how well you know your equine flicks in this quiz!
Hi ho Silver! It's time to outfit an equine nursery. Forget the cartoonish cowboy paraphernalia and go for a sweet and sophisticated room for the lil buckaroo. Choose a sprightly modern avalisa print on stretched canvas to add some pop to the walls. Engage a wee one's attention with a simple silhouette horse mobile while adding a touch of the gladiator period with a Thomas Paul linen pillow. Itty bitties will adore a rocking horse — choose from modern, sleek, old-fashioned or plush. Polish off the look with a snow globe, a pony adorned silver brush, a crystal horse, or a candy red vinyl poof from Zid Zid Kids.
Come back to see what is tangled up with I as we continue our alphabet nursery coverage!
