It's a Bark-a-Long so These Dogs Are All Ready to Go With OK GO

With the help of Talented Animals (the training company) and some talented animals (literally), OK Go created this whimsical agility music video with doggies weaving in and out.

With the help of Talented Animals (the training company) and some talented animals (literally), OK Go created this whimsical agility music video with doggies weaving in and out. I'm totally loving it . . . oh, and the song's catchy, too!

Do you have any other favorite music videos where animals make a furry or feathered cameo?

Spring Clean a Dog Lover's Desk

I'll be honest: my desk is far from neat.

I'll be honest: my desk is far from neat. I've got a collection of dog tags, treats, and toys . . . and all my stuff, too. I think I should start organizing (especially since Savvy's spotless desk is next to mine) and this is just the cute pet to inspire a major Spring cleaning spree.
The Amigos Dog ($62) comes in three lovely shades all with plenty of pouches. There's room for pencils and small items on the sides, my pink notepad on his back and even a hole in his tummy for my BlackBerry! The three desk organizers I've named Raspberry, Blueberry and Blackberry are handcrafted in Argentina with 100 percent reconstituted leather – so ecotastic to recycle usable materials to turn into something beautiful.

Keep a Dog Park Map on Your Bag

No, I didn't mean in your bag, I meant on!

No, I didn't mean in your bag, I meant on! These dog park totes are a casual way to carry your pup's goodies around town and a cheat sheet if you end up in a new neighborhood – just hold the bag at an arm's length like you're admiring it, and remind yourself how to get where you need to go. They're offered in six cities ($25), I'm thinking about picking up a NYC one for nostalgia's sake!

Mother's Day

Gifts for the Dog Mom

Being a Dog Mom myself, I would hope that North would celebrate me on Mother's Day (if, of course, he knew what Mother's Day was).

Being a Dog Mom myself, I would hope that North would celebrate me on Mother's Day (if, of course, he knew what Mother's Day was). There's a lot that goes into caring for an animal, and it's definitely not an easy task. I've told my own mother that this certainly can be considered practice for a real baby, since I spend quite a bit of my free time hanging out with the little guy, taking him for walks in the park, and making sure he's healthy, just like a mom to someone of the human species would. And, if my North could talk, I know that he would say, "Thanks and I love you!"

So with the upcoming holiday in mind, let's spread the love and show all those Dog Moms out there we care. If you have a friend or relative that is a Dog Mom, she deserves some QT and a few goodies of her own. Especially since sacrificing those hot stilettos for a few trips to the doggie spa isn't easy.
