The cold weather is kicking in, and now we're reaching for cozy sweaters to stay warm! That being said, sweaters can be tricky to style — you want to look pulled together while still beating the cold. Cue Rachel Zoe and Emma Roberts, who were both spotted sporting comfy knits in LA yesterday. Rachel went for a really oversize silhouette that she cinched with an unexpected (and stylish) fanny pack, while Emma reached for a soft pullover in a muted pink hue. Watch today's Fab Flash for all the details! On Allison: J.Crew sweater, Erickson Beamon necklace.

The minute I heard Oprah say Sadie has a Ralph Lauren cable knit sweater, you know I was off to find it! Well, it's pretty tough to be certain, since the episode barely flashed on a photo of her dog with it on (which I think accounts for the shade difference). Either way, there's only one pink sweater still offered — this Shawl Collar Cashmere Sweater. Act fast — it's on sale for $69 (originally, $95) in S/M for your little preppy pup.
I admit there's plenty of fashionable (and bizarre) dog clothing out there, but here's one of the most common questions I get: "Dogs have fur, isn't it silly to put anything else on them?" Well, the answer I give without fail is vague, but true: It depends. While a Samoyed in Minnesota may not need a heavy coat, it's possible that a Chihuahua may need one on a chilly night in the Valley. As a general guideline, smaller dogs with shorter coats will be more likely to need that extra layer than a larger, long-haired pet.
The best way to tell what your animal needs is to watch his behavior. If your Italian Greyhound is shivering or trying to enter every open door on his evening walk around the city, chances are, he'd appreciate an extra layer. Remember, more activity makes your pets warmer just like running will make you break into a sweat faster than a leisurely stroll, so a pup sitting outside will get colder than when chasing his pals around a NYC dog park. Use your judgment and don't let anyone else decide for you.
Snuggled up under that down jacket, it's hard to tell what lil Penny's wearing! Working with limited visibility, I'm coming to my own conclusions about the sweater – after all, I can see gray-colored stripes. Get a similar effect with the Juicy Couture Dog Sweater Gift Set now 50 percent off at $41.90 (orig $85). The catch is, it's only left in XS. The neat (or scary) part about this Doggy Couture set is that it also includes four matchy-matchy legwarmers and a scarf. I really can't wait 'til Gossip Girl returns – I mean Penny makes cameos behind the scenes so much, would it really hurt to give her a bit part? Clearly Blake doesn't discriminate against other dogs, see her meet a new pooch on the set when you read more
