Charlie's still leading Amanda Bynes on all sorts of adventures – the duo was spotted over the weekend leaving a Beverly Hills salon. Amanda's sporting a nice blowout . . . and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel looks pretty spiffy, too!At first glance, I thought this was the same Bags on Board carrier he sported at the Peninsula, but it's totally different (see the silvery details). Now the Flexi Comfort leash includes a similar hydrant-style – but with this spring clasp so, when she rotates between her pooch's many leashes, she can bring the dispenser, too. Perfect. In case you were worried, Charlie is still as cute as ever as he grows out of puppyhood! We've spotted cross country travelers, Amanda Bynes and her ever growing cav, visiting LA last month and checking out NYC this week. While Amanda likes to cuddle the dog close, she still brings along a chic carrier for the road. It's about time the void in my heart has been filled with these new shots of Charlie! He must have been hiding inside and eating a lot because he's about doubled in size from when we first saw him two months ago. It's no wonder this fur ball was your (and my) new puppy of the year — he's so cute, I could just scream. In addition to carrying this adorable wee one, I'd also like to compliment Amanda for still having her dog on a Flexi with a Bags on Board while the two checked out an event at Beverly Hills' Peninsula Hotel yesterday — brava on those parenting skills!

Many celebrities take time to fit a pooch (or pooches) into their busy schedules. Of the noteworthy furry additions this year, I asked you to pick your favorite new dog of 2007. The winner of the PetSugar readers' choice poll for the puppy you can't wait to see grow up in 2008 is . . .

Charlie! This little fella is likely keeping Amanda's other Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (and her whole family) company no doubt. While he looks a little camera-shy at the moment, he could definitely take lessons from older sis, Midge. What a cuddle-worthy ball of fur he is – I love his whole gallery . . . aww!

Although I'm still awww-ing over the pictures of Amanda Bynes and her new pup, Charlie (who totally has my vote for puppy of the year), it's nice to hear her talk about her other Cavalier, Midge. Hooray for the pitter-pattering of little paws – could this teensy pup be a new addition to the family? Amanda Bynes was spotted yesterday at L.A.'s Studio 59 with this adorable tricolor Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I know she already has a Blenheim (chestnut red and white) Cavalier, so I wonder if she picked up this (from what I can tell) fella to accompany her dog, Midge?!

Recently I have been really into finding great (and new) gear for working out this spring as spring is tough because it borders cold, cool and warm, making dressing for an outside jog quite the task.

What's a girl to do? Well, layer of course. Horny Toad has been topping my list for great layering pieces these days. I have especially been getting a lot of mileage out of my Charlie ($46.00) zip-up jacket. It's light enough that it keeps me warm in the beginning of a jog yet it keeps me cool in the end -- So great! The jacket feels almost like your favorite t-shirt because the construction is 'plaited', which means the cotton appears only on the outside where it pulls moisture through the wicking-enhanced polyester from inside against the skin (basically, it breathes really well). I don't recommend this as your only jacket if you're running outside in a colder climate, as it really is a light layer.

Ever since I discovered it, this little jacket has been a staple in my gym bag. You can buy it directly from Horny Toad's site. Oh, and I gotta say, the images do not do the jacket justice.
