School's out and if your kids, and kitties, are looking for a fun way to stay entertained during the warm Summer months, take a cue from Luna the Fashion Kitty and give them the gift of bubbles. Luna's fond of the catnip-flavored formula, but there are also many nontoxic, and soap-free, varieties on the market. Check out Luna in action below, and let us know what your four-legged loved ones think of this idea!
I admit when a pal shared her crafty creation idea with me, I was worried it would result in something dangerous. However, she proudly showed off her tape measure re-creation and it looked rather recreational for her frisky feline. Many cats go crrrazy for fronds of all time so she took a tiny, retractable tape measure and taped a few bright feathers to the end.
To play she lets it out a few feet and then presses the button and it flies in, drawing her kitty down from any perch. She was careful to point out to use the small measures, not the ones with hard plastic tape, and to test it out in a cat free room first to make sure it doesn't fly up as it slips back in. Would your pets dig this project . . . or will you take a pass?

It's fishing season — kitty fishing season. If you want to trap a feline with some feathered, catnip-filled, or fishy-shaped bait, I've gathered up 10 tempters for playful cats. Remember, let her snatch it every once in a while, but otherwise, happy casting.

Even though an unfortunate wild turtle snack recently made the list of crazy pet insurance claims, these turtles are meant for kitty's mouth. Not to swallow, but they're precious tortoises for feline fun.
From plush to plastic, there's something for chasers, chewers, and the catnip-obsessed. I love the charming crocheted terrapins — handcrafted and stuffed with organic catnip, these new toys at Trixie + Peanut will delight animal lovers in the house but click through the rest below.
OK, it seems that this vampire madness won't go away anytime soon — between Twilight and True Blood, I'm seeing fangs wherever I look. And how adorable is this kitty toy?!
Filled with stemless catnip, the felt toys won't draw any blood literally since the sharp parts are removed, and I'd surely be excited to see this kind of vampire coming at me! If you're not into the whole bloodsucking craze, there are some silly buck teeth to choose from, too. Nobody call a dentist, I want to see these pearly whites sticking out!
What could possibly imitate a moving mouse better than an actually moving mouse?! This cat seems alternately creeped out and captivated by this zippy robotic rodent. Have you ever tested out electronic pet toys on your dogs or cats . . . or let them get some chase time in with moving toys of your own?
If your friends are anything like mine, it's a battle to get them to suggest a single meal that doesn't involve sushi. Now the idea of fresh fish and kitties go
hand-in-hand paw-in-fin but there are plenty of doggie rolls, too. Grab your chopsticks and dig into these tasty morsels!
If you're looking for new games to play inside with cats in Winter, look no further than the new mod stripe kitty krackers from SF's George pet supply shop. Now coming in both kitten (6.5-inch) and tomcat (12.5-inch) sizes, these toys are stuffed into fresh catnip sausages. I picture both to offer plenty of hiding and seeking (read: attacking) options for those super active cats looking for a savory snack to sniff this season.
Valentine's Day is right around the corner but, in my house, we say "I Love You" year-round . . . well, I do since North can't exactly talk. Anyway, I've gathered up some handmade pet toys from Etsy for all types of furry friends. See ways to spread the love and start this slideshow – everything's under $10, too!
