Kristen Bell really, really loves sloths. On the Jan. 31 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actress shares a story and an adorably humbling video about her lifelong love of sloths and her birthday surprise from fiancé Dax Shepard. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you might just want a sloth of your own.
Survey's still out on whether you think these creatures are too cute or too creepy when fully grown, but I'm hard-pressed to call any animal ugly when there's bottle feeding involved! Two sloths named Bimba and Hugo have two babies — one is being cared for by the proud parents while this one is being helped along by vet staff at the LoroParque Zoo in Tenerife. Now, we know that these creatures are pretty slow but it seems that this little one is having no trouble quickly adjusting to bottle time. He (or she) looks full and totally elated!

Meet the super cute residents of a sloth orphanage. Even without a mama sloth, they're getting some pretty sweet care.
A majority of you can agree that these guys are pretty cute, despite their given name. I'm guessing all furry creatures that look kinda like teddy bears would be cute on principal. But do you know anything else about the sloth . . . other than it (obviously) hangs from trees?

I'm half-inclined to ditch the everyday rat race, find this sloth sanctuary in Costa Rica, and live in slow-mo for a while. Perfection much? But baby Taz demonstrates one small problem with taking one's sweet time — all the time. What to do when you have an itch that you're just too slow to . . . scratch?
OK, not that kind of bar crawl. We're talking the kind where he climbs a bar here, creeps upside down there, and before you know it — boo! He's in your face with those round brown eyes and a big, blank stare. What happens next? Wouldn't you like to know. Give a sloth some time. A whole lotta time . . .
Time to get your wild animal fix! I just saw this cute picture of a not-that-common creature so I acted very non-slothlike and dug up some fun facts about the Two-Toed Sloth that you can tell just from looking at the picture!
- Check out the claws. Sloths get their names based on the number of large claws on their front feet – either two or three – and both have three claws in the back! These claws help them grip and climb those branches upside down in a hand-over-hand motion.
- Check out how quickly it moves. Not. This is the world's slowest mammal – so inactive that algae grows on its furry coat giving it a greenish tint as camouflage in the tropical canopy layer.
