A nice brisk walk just before the feast of Thanksgiving, I came across this lovely dog. He barked when I passed his house but once I pulled out my camera he posed for his picture without a peep!

I didn't really know what "baying" sounded like and Raynor does this yawn thing that I thought might be baying. I looked it up online and found this and was listening to it and noticed Raynor wake up — got a video because I thought it was so cute.

I don't own an animal but thankfully where I live has great wildlife including deer (that love to eat all of my flowers on my deck), birds, raccoons and my all time favorite animal that I spotted was baby Western Screech Owls. They spent the entire summer in a huge oak tree just outside of my house. I don't see them anymore but I can still hear them hoo'ing! This picture was taking about 5 feet away from them while they were learning to fly!
