Can you pick North out of that picture? Although I consider myself pretty good at naming dog breeds, I'm always shocked by the number of people who get confused seeing my lil pup. He begrudgingly endures "I looove Pugs" or "What a cute Frenchie" at least once a week, but the funniest story comes from our days in NYC.
There was an issue with my tub's leaky pipes so a plumber (supervised by the super) had to come in to fix them. On the afternoon of the appointment day, I get a phone call from my building's management company informing me that he could not fix the problem and had to leave because of my (and I do quote) "vicious pit-bull puppy." Umm, yeah, that would be North. In his crate . . . and obviously freaking out because strangers came in and didn't let him out to play!
Trying not to be outraged at the stereotype behind the "vicious pit bull" statement, I had to explain to management that I had a crated, 15-pound Boston Terrier surely hellbent on "death by kisses" and go home on my lunch break to sit with them while they fixed it the next day. Two of carriefrances' pack of pooches are mixed breeds: Trevor is a Boston Terrier/Pug mix and Zoe is a French Bulldog/Pug mix, hence the nicknames "Bug" and "Fug". They look like cute and cuddly little troublemakers don't they? What a team!

After filming for two years, Valentino revealed his 90-minute documentary, Valentino: The Last Emperor, at the Venice Film Festival. The movie follows the designer's intimate life with fashion and Giancarlo Giammettii, seen below. “We had the cameras following us to the bathroom,” said Valentino. “It was a bit nerve-racking at times.”
I don't want to give away any spoilers, but look forward to behind-the-scenes fashion frenzies and witnessing Valentino’s six pugs — Milton, Monty, Maude, Margot, Maggie, and Molly (Pet, are you hearing this?) — receiving lush treatments. These pups are sprayed with cologne and decked out with diamanté chandelier earrings!
Awww, look at the sleepy puppy! Dog mom sonya ina says that Eegor loves to fall asleep on her desk while she's working, and here's the evidence to prove it. I'm not sure if it's the angle of this photo that makes Eegor's paws look huge, or if they really are that size! Sonya ina might have a super-size Pug on her hands after he finishes growing! You know what they say about the size of a puppy's paws . . .

If there is anything cuter than a gaggle of smooshy Pugs running all over a posh mansion, sipping tea, and showing off their super long tongues like in this month's Vogue Italia, then please let me know! Fellow animal lover Fab gave me the heads up on the cutie-patootie pugs, who are posing with the gorgeous supermodel Linda Evangelista in this high brow June spread. But pup models aren't strictly an Italian trend, Pomeranians are found playing in the pages of the June issue of Vogue here in the states, too! This is definitely a fashion trend I don't mind seeing – animals as models, not as clothes. Nothing against the beautiful Linda E., but I'd pick up the mag just to see the tubby puppies!
