The former English major in me just couldn't pass these two kitties up! Tolstoy (the white one) and Pushkin came to cddlykoala from Petfinder, the Match.com for pets. 
My favorite detail about these felines are their activities: while one enjoys the bathtub and the other hearts feathers, Pushkin aims to "avoid Tolstoy's advances" while Tolstoy "tries to get Pushkin to love me back." Awwww, I love both of you! Check them out up close below!

Seems like pups and people aren't the only ones that get to enjoy a yogurt treat! Meet Oliver, our Persian POTD. This cutie cat loves his yums . . . especially the Yoplait! Mom, fuzzles, shares this snack (and spoon!) with the furball on most mornings. How sweet since those active cultures are good for the digestive tract and can help keep a good yeast level in pet's system . . . and tasty, too!
Our newest Sugar pup, Samson, finally finished up all his puppy boosters and, last week, he took his first real walk outdoors. Hooray! It's important to have your dog up-to-date on shots before letting him meet other furry friends so he doesn't pick up any dangerous diseases.

This pup's future's so bright, she's gotta wear shades. I bet she's hoping that future includes some of her fave snackies like carrots, apples, and PB. Lil Peanut loves going on adventures in the car and to the pet store. Oh yeah, and the dog park as the high-energy pooch enjoys running circles around the other dogs, and even has her own pair of pink Doggles to keep those eyes protected!
Even though it's all happy times now, her past wasn't so great – the Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix was abandoned in a shelter in Austin because her old family said this five-pound pooch was too big for their new house . . . hmm, sounds suspicious to me. Thankfully the ladies at the shelter brought the cutie to an adoption fair in Arizona where she met her new mommy, lilyofthewest! Yay for happy endings . . . and yay for Friday!
It's not everyday that a Sugar staffer adds a pet to her family and, last weekend, LilPeaPod drove across two state lines to do just that! This absolutely freaking adoro pooch is named Samson and he hails all the way from Washington! In case you were wondering, Samson is a French Bulldog (like Fab's AB) and he already loves to play in the grass. I can tell his new parents are spoiling him with cute gear like this chic carrier and I can't wait to scope his smooshy face in person! The puppy shower is still in the works but I'm set to watch him grow into his puppy paws and get a firsthand scoop – and reminder – of the trials and tribulations of new pet ownership! The weather's heating up so it's time to get outdoors! Take an extra twenty minutes and let your pup enjoy the weather – either with longer walks around town, time at the dog park, or a chance to frolic in the yard with new toys. I love to see animal friendships of all sorts, especially playtime with BFFs. And, seriously, how adoro are these two frolicking pups?! Meet the popcorn-loving pooch, B-Bop, born at (and rescued from) the humane society. He's got a special friend that makes him spin and wag his tail with joy — that's Qi. See that tiny lil pooch in front on the right? That's Holly when she was just a pup! This lovely golden is our TGIF POTD! She enjoys games of fetch the ball . . . often followed by a game of chase to get the ball back. Her dream vacation would include a stop at the rawhide bone factory, a sandpit for digging, and a snowy place to frolic. This kissing cutie is Franklin. The special birdie is an Alexandrine Parakeet, a green parrot known for its chattering, mimicking abilities. The proud pet of lola555, she says he's a sweet and happy bird with an awesome, affectionate personality. In addition to singing and talking up a storm at home, her pet loves snacking on dried and fresh fruit, nuts, veggies, and peanut butter! Blue sky . . . check. Boat . . . check. Super cute Scottie . . . check. This puppy's Pippi, a Scottish Terrier that loves going camping and getting super dirty. She looks pretty clean here, but I'm thinking this shot was snapped pretty early on the adventure. She's got some Scottie BFFs, Stella and Morty, that she likes to play with . . . and she even shares North's love for peanut butter. Yum! In addition to her other pals, akrsouth recently added another lil pooch to the family – Willa's not even a year old yet but she's already fitting right in with Pippi's chasing and frolicking merriment!
