Tazo is so cute I could eat him up! At a few weeks old, this lil one already has a ton of toys — even a pacifer — just like a baby! When not laying there looking absolutely adorable, he enjoys playing with ice and eating clams at the Alaska SeaLife Center.

TGIF! If you're already in need of some cute to get you through the day, here's Sidney to the rescue. This lil otter was temporarily living with a professional animal caretaker and enjoyed a wide range of dog toys. But, the best part comes when he finds the car keys — watch and enjoy!
A pair of snuggly baby Asian otters were welcomed into the world last month in New Zealand and made their public debut yesterday at the Auckland Zoo. The babies are still very wiggly and clumsy (being too young for much coordination), and are small enough to fit in your hand! I used to have a baby otter toy when I was younger but thinking back, I realize my toy was nothing compared to the cuteness of the real thing!
Asian otters are closely related to ferrets and skunks, and are the smallest of all 13 species. You can't see these little guys up close (unless you live in New Zealand, of course), but you can check out a video of Asian otters in action via the Monterey Bay Aquarium's exhibit here in California.

To support the Hollywood writers, all the piano-playing felines, skateboarding canines, hand-holding otters, and dramatic chipmunks across the net have quit their antics and gone on strike, too. They won't showcase their skillz, and even worse, they've cut the drama. All joy is on hold. The Internet petting zoo is officially closed, and a virtual disaster is upon us. But hang in there—I'm sure a help group is in the making.
Can a couple of hand-holding otters have some privacy, for Pete's sake? They didn't sign up for living in a zoo, so the least you can do is allow them privacy while they engage in their version of "walks on the beach." Still, I cannot look away.
