So many cute faces, so little time, but kudos for crowning your favorite new furry friend to wrap up the first of our Best of 2009 polls! In a super-close race (presidential pet, Bo, held tightly to the second spot), I'm happy to congratulate the super-adorable Cha-Cha.

Including JJ and the (late) Jack, she makes it Jack Russell no. 3 for Mariah Carey; the singer received Cha-Cha in March as an anniversary present from husband Nick Cannon. Since I haven't seen enough of this pooch, peep more pictures below!

My pal Giggle is always on the ball! Flipping through the pages of this month's InTouch magazine, she came across these pics of this adorable new dog breed and alerted me ASAP! Crossed between a Jack Russell and Chihuahua, this little pint sized Jackahuahua is more lap dog than ball of energy, says breeder Suzy Mainprice:

"The Chihuahua takes out a lot of the natural instincts of the others, so you get more of a pet."

I think these little mutts are super cute, and their coloring reminds me of a certain closely clipped pup belonging to another Sugar Staffer!

I thought I'd open it up to all of you who had such great ideas for movie star pets – do you simply adore any animals from TV, past or present? Anastasia Breaks World Balloon Popping Record!

Every animal has a talent! Some can walk on two legs, some seem to talk to us, and others just want to pop some balloons. Obvi. On Live! With Regis and Kelly last week, Anastasia, the Jack Russell, showed her unique talent by popping 100 balloons in 44.8 seconds, beating the previous world record by almost ten seconds! My favorite part of this video isn't Anastasia's crazy high pitched whining as she's waiting to attack the pack of balloons – it's the part where Regis says, "Let's get it on!" So hilarious. Check out the video of Anastasia in action below.
