In the Spotlight: Jessica Performs Live and Polished Daisy, Too

Well, it's the first time in three years that Jessica Simpson has given a live show .

Well, it's the first time in three years that Jessica Simpson has given a live show . . . and who better to accompany her to the 16th Annual Country Thunder USA in Twin Lakes, WI than her two fave snuggle buddies, Daisy and Tony. While she was performing hits off her forthcoming country album – like Come On Over – I'm betting someone kept lil Daisy's paws safe from the ground backstage while Jess was onstage . . . hey, maybe even Tony himself. I think this pup was looking extra clean and freshly groomed – check her out yourself in the pictures below.

In the Spotlight: Daisy Can Stand!

Well, hello there fluffball.

Well, hello there fluffball. Seems like you can stand after all . . . although you must not move quickly because I don't think I'd put my crazy pooch that close to the x-ray machine super fun looking tunnel. Jessica Simpson, Ashlee, and Daisy geared to get up and go at LAX yesterday – it seems like they brought a ton of luggage, so hopefully including all the right adventure gear. Despite her ever-shaggy mane, I do love this pooch so see some more photos (with the Sac Chien) when you read more

Daisy Needs a Little Spot in her Life

Don't get me wrong, I think this maltipoo is one cute, little furball but I really wish she didn't appear so unkempt.

Don't get me wrong, I think this maltipoo is one cute, little furball but I really wish she didn't appear so unkempt. The disheveled look may be hot on Johnny Depp . . . on Daisy, not so much. While Jessica Simpson's hair has nice, styled waves going on, her pooch looks badly in need of a good trim, brushing, and freshening up.

I decided to pretend for a moment that I was in NYC, and that I could somehow stage an intervention. If I had access to this celebrity pet, I'd prescribe Spot Organics . . . stat. To see exactly what on my Rx (along with more cute pictures of the duo), read more

Simply Fab: Marc Jacobs Daisy Solid Perfume Ring

I am a sucker for dual-functioning fashion items.

I am a sucker for dual-functioning fashion items. Especially if it bears the name of one of my favorite American designers (Marc Jacobs) and evokes feelings of one of the most innocent flowers (daisies). This Marc Jacobs 'Daisy' Solid Perfume Ring ($30) borders on Bella territory, but the white and gold enamel ring is definitely Fab. It reminds me of those lip-gloss rings that certainly come in handy . . .

Beauty Byte: Marc Jacobs Launching Daisy Fragrance

It's no secret that FabSugar loves Marc Jacobs, as do millions of other young fashionistas.

It's no secret that FabSugar loves Marc Jacobs, as do millions of other young fashionistas. I'm also a fan, particularly of Jacobs' Splash fragrance line. Now, Women's Wear Daily tells us that Jacobs' next scent, called Daisy, will be released in August. Very smartly, Jacobs is using the sunny scent to go after younger customers. According to the article:

“We wanted to do something that had a youthful, fresh spirit,” Jacobs said of his scent, aptly called Daisy Marc Jacobs. Speaking during an exclusive phone interview Wednesday afternoon, he said, “Daisy is more youthful, while my gardenia and jasmine scents [Marc Jacobs for women and Blush Marc Jacobs, respectively] are more singular and definitely more ‘designer’ scents. I don’t want to say they’re older, but they’re more sophisticated.”

The floral fragrance will have top notes of strawberry, violet leaves, and ruby-red grapefruit, plus gardenia, jasmine, and other accents. Daisy will also get a wider distribution than Jacobs' other, more mature fragrances, and it will be offered exclusively by Bloomingdale's in the first month. To top it all off, the bottle will have three plastic daisies adorning the cap. I can't wait to pop open a bottle.
