It's the time of year for indulging in delicious sweets and maybe an extra festive drink, but Maymo proves that even health food is beloved by dogs — any time of year. This silly pup has won our hearts over and over, proving we can't get enough of the adorable Lemon Beagle. Click to watch this silly pet video of the day that might have you reaching for cabbage instead of dog food the next time you are at the grocery store.
There's not much to say about this video other than you're guaranteed to giggle through the entire short. Just two adorable Lemon Beagles and a shopping cart out for some fun. Watch as the dogs go on an unbelievable adventure in this silly pet video of the day. And you may remember one of these pups from this hilarious dog-shaming clip.
I hadn't considered it but a beagle's baroo does sound like "who" so some Saints fans help out this pooch by adding "dat" after his howl. (For the New Orleans newbies, the chant — "Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints" — is often shortened to "Who Dat" on shirts and signs.) Could your pups play along?

It seems that Korea just can't get enough of cloning, and this time it includes sea anemones and beagles. What does one have to do with the other, you ask? Normally nothing, but recently scientists have incorporated a glowing protein into a set of cloned beagles that makes them glow under infrared light. Not only does it make for an interesting (albeit creepy-looking) combo, but it also proves that you can insert specific genes into an animal, even if it's not from their own species.
This video I caught on AP, shows why the scientists engineered the beagles with the protein in the first place. Check it out, then tell me if you think this advancement is for the best . . . or for the worst.
I'm super excited for the next episode of Dogs 101 on Animal Planet. Airing every Saturday at 8 p.m., each show focuses on five dog types. Last week, we learned quite a bit about the following breeds – I've included a fun fact, and furry face, for each pooch. Check 'em out in this slideshow!
If I ever needed advice on which toy to get North, I might first go to Linus for his expert opinion on which one is best. I mean, check him out: there's a monkey, a rope, a bone, an octopus, and is that a leopard print pig I see there? He's got them all, so he must know his toy business.
Congrats to Linus and beccab1234 for being chosen as our Pet Pic of the Day! Don't forget to submit your favorite snapshots to our Pet Pics group. You may see your furry pal on the pages of PetSugar!
Well here's an award show I've never heard of – the 'Miss Canine Costa Rica 2008' contest! Held in San Jose (not CA), over 300 dogs came out to participate in the two-day pup pageant held by Spanish-language magazine, Pets Y Mas, and turns out there was more than one winner! This cutie pie is Lila, a female Miniature Schnauzer, who won the Miss Canine photogenic competition at the festivities. To see the first place winners in the puppy and adult dog categories read more
