Think pink and choose special edition Pink Loofa Dog for Breast Cancer this month. These dog and cat toys typically come in different colors and sizes and are über-popular with your pets! Choosing this one has an additional bonus; in an effort to aid Breast Cancer Awareness, Multipet has chosen to donate a percentage of proceeds to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. A minimum of 85 percent of all funds raised by this foundation goes to breast cancer research grants and awareness programs. Same squeaker your pet loves, new packaging, and great message – we're sold!
Q: My cat won't come to dinner! When it's time to feed her, she pays no attention – I know sometimes cats eat throughout the day but I swear when I get home, the same amount is still in the bowl. I've even tried different foods and meal times. The weird part is, when I bring it to her, she'll eat most of it right front of me. I know this is a bad habit, but I can't think of what else to do? Help!
A: Try teaching this one at mealtime, or anytime you want your cat to come. If she's especially attentive when you return home, start by saying your cat's name followed by the command "come" even if she is already on her way over to you. Pet her, then take a couple steps back and repeat, giving her a few pieces of her food as you do this. Continue moving until you get near the bowl. When she gets to the bowl, praise her lavishly and fill it up. Repeat this each day. Eventually, your cat should associate the food and praise with the command and then you will be on your way to owning a trained cat. Source

Don't be fooled – this pup isn't planning a costume of caught-in-a-torrential-downpour for Halloween this year. He's actually sporting a new, top-of-the-line pet rescue jacket (along with attached emergency kit and food pockets) at this week's Security and Safety Trade Expo in Tokyo. As cute as he looks in this get-up, the first thing that came to mind was the amount of time and patience it would take (in an emergency no less) to get this onto my squirmy guy. And, ranging between $238 and $425, that price tag is not so easy to swallow either. Would your pet stand for this? Would you?
I've heard of so many awesome activities for pet owners and animal lovers to do across the country that I'm jealous I can't travel to these places more often!
Lucky for you, PetSugar will go on location in a new state each week – and I'll be sharing my ideas for the best spots to visit and things to do in that area. Whether you're traveling, relocating, or just plain curious, stay tuned for our daily "Out and About" trip tip starting Monday and share your new knowledge with animal loving family and friends all over the place.

With over 14,000 signatures on an online petition, and several websites dedicated to the cause, when will the "Iggygate" madness end? Although it appears that the dog already has a new home, Ellen canceled the taping for Friday and Monday's shows, and I have a feeling that the aftermath is far from over. Regardless of my feelings about the right and wrong of the situation, I can't help but feel for the innocent bystanders – Iggy and the children.
