You know it's Fall when piccys of pets at the pumpkin patch start showing up in Team galleries! I particularly like this one of Manolo during his first trip to the p-patch. Either he's found the biggest pumpkin he could to take a rest on, or he's just really petite. I happen to think it's the latter. What a cutie!

I'm not so into super pricey costumes for my lil pooch – after all, he only gets a couple hours (well, and a couple hundred pictures) out of it. I purchased two top-secret Halloween outfits . . . and found that Target's already reduced the prices on several of my favorite styles. Hot dog!

OK, now the back story: Hosted by Fred Willard (star of one of our favorite animal movies), the 2008 Worldwide Fido Awards took place in the aptly-named Barker Hangar in Santa Monica over the weekend. The finalists were announced for six categories including our very own Samson who captured the title of "Cutest Dog" – woohoo!

Judges for the event included celebrity dog trainer Tamar Gellar and actors Kevin Nealon and Vivica A. Fox, and lucky for us LilPeaPod has some behind the scenes tales coming later today.
