Times, check. Caffeine, check. Super cute dog, check. It must be chilly in Manhattan cause lil Liccy has his fave jumpsuit all ready to go. Despite the fact that my pup would probably soil that ensemble, it's sweet of Famke to bundle her Boston up 'cause I know how heat (and cold) sensitive those smooshies can be!
It's clear she loves her lil man whether they're showing off their acting chops together or just driving around town, it's great to see celebrities out with their dogs just like us! Well, minus the paparazzi that is . . .
Check out a couple more piccys of the dynamic duo – in which Licorice gives us the sweet stink eye – below!

It seems like centuries ago that we were watching those hysterical audition videos for the Meow Mix game show. Well, the premiere was just taped last night in Hollywood and, from the looks of these pictures, some furry felines were in the house!
To refresh your memory, the half-hour program will have kitties and their people competing for the chance to win $1 million and earn $100,000 for their local feline-related charity. The first episode of "Think Like a Cat" airs on Nov. 15 on the Game Show Network – I plan on tuning in, do you?

I don't consider myself to be an impulse buyer, but when wrapping up a business trip in Florida a couple years back, I spotted a whole kennel full of dog figurines at a gas station. This lil guy cost $6 and I couldn't resist!
Even though his ears are rounder than I like to see in my dog's breed – the shop's version of a Frenchie was super chubby! – it totally made me giggle. 'Cause not only is he choosing to "mark" his territory, he's (ummmm) anatomically correct. Do you have any items that feature your favorite breed?
What am I doing? Oh just paying some bills, doing a little light reading . . . you know normal stuff for a Sunday afternoon. Want me to sort out your 401k next?

Congrats to Toonces and bluesarahlou for being chosen as our Pet Pic of the Day! Be sure to submit your photos to our Pet Pics group for a chance to see your furry pals on the pages of PetSugar!
I have a good friend that will travel to great lengths to get the best sushi. Her favorite restaurant is here in SF (she lives about 25 miles outside of town), and she swears by their salmon and yellowtail. Little does she know that her raw fish obsession is one she shares with killer whales!
A recent study finds that salmon is killer whales' favorite food, and they will travel large distances to nosh on the best. Using their Ecolocators (creating an echoing sound), they can scan areas up to a half mile away to find their favorite King Salmon, which provides the high concentration of fats and lipids that these whales seem to prefer. I can see traveling 25 miles to a favorite sushi bar a couple of times a month, but scanning hundreds of miles of ocean for a particular fish? Now that's a dedication that my pal Yum could appreciate!

When I first spotted this on moderncat, I thought it was a prototype for a futuristic creation. However, much to my surprise, the Litter-Garage ($180) already exists.
According to the manufacturer's website, it only takes an hour of installation (provided you have an existing cat door) and is a safe way to stash the stinky box in the garage without worrying about a feline taking a nap under your car. And how well-prepared you'll be come clean up time – there's space for a scoop, waste bags, and even antibacterial handwipes, too. Kitty's poo stays out of sight, while your lil kitty-poo stays on the top of your mind.
I'm becoming a bit of a trivia buff, and with approaching holidays, I can't resist brushing up on some useful (or useless) knowledge to share with friends and family. While I'm savoring the smells coming from the kitchen or listening to several conversations at once, I wonder how cats and dogs would fare compared to me. Do you know anything about human and animal senses? Find out below!
