Searching Twitter can be frustrating and send you off on unexpected Internet tangents, which is why I welcome the practicality of Twoogle, a mashup site that provides side-by-side search results for Twitter and Google.

Twoogle's goal is to "make it easier to benefit from the real-time results provided by Twitter and the relevant sites" with the help of Google. If you ask me, it trumps Twitter's internal search because the comparison offers more relevant results and insight into the very hot topics of the moment.

Move over Travis from Greatest American Dog! There's a new handsome animal-loving fella on during primetime. Brandon McMillan, 31-year-old animal trainer and host of Animal Planet's The Night, is a nature lover's dreamboat. He has no formal training himself, but he's trained lions, bears, tigers and reptiles for flicks like The Jungle Book II, I Am Sam and TV shows 24 and Jackass.

His current show, The Night, which premiered last month and airs Wednesday nights at 10 p.m., is a dark look at what happens in the wild when the rest of us are cozied up in bed. Brandon goes on expeditions around the world to catch rare animal behaviors at night on camera. He recently chatted with OK!:

• On his unusual job: When girls ask me what I do and I say I'm a wild animal trainer, they think I'm lying. I was telling a story in a bar and the bartender thought I was drunk and kicked me out.
• On dangerous dates: My perfect date would be sitting in a Land Rover in Africa with a bottle of wine and some snacks...watching a lion kill.
• On being fearless: I've had lions, snakes, leopards and buffalo come at me. I've been bitten, but I've never truly been attacked. Ninety-nine point nine percent of people who are attacked don't live to tell the tale.

The e-reader market is a funny one. Consumers gawk, but complain about the price of the device and downloads. Still, 33 percent of you admit to owning an electronic book gizmo like Amazon's Kindle, which has quickly become a travel essential for celebs.

If you've committed to an e-reader you can fill 'er up for free, you just have to know where to get your reading material. Feedbooks is a handy e-reading platform that's compatible with all major mobile devices — from the Kindle, iPhone, iPod Touch, to the Sony PRS-505 — and allows you to download thousands of free e-books. You can also publish and share content, and create customized newspapers from RSS feeds and widgets. The site's collection airs on the classic side (top downloads include The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes), but you're guaranteed to find something. Is doggie's mouth not so fresh and clean? If so, Fido isn't alone. More than half of PetSugar readers say their dogs have stinky mouth odor. Like humans, grody animal breath may be an aftereffect of a smelly treat, diet or body chemistry. You can take prevention steps by routinely brushing with meant-for-doggies toothbrush and toothpaste. Tip type. Tip type. Tip type. Those of us who work in offices sit at our computers for most of the day, but what we actually do on and with our machines varies more than most people (especially Luddites!) realize. Some jobs rely on fancy databases or equipment, some on single programs like InDesign and Photoshop, and some simply on good old fashioned email.

Whenever I watch The Office I am blown away at the notion of relying on a landline, Excel and email all workday because I hop through applications and gadgets like the Energizer Bunny. What machinery and programs do you use daily to perform your work duties?

I don't know about you, but I expect my lil guy to spoil me rotten this Sunday in honor of Mother's Day. Sure, he can't serve me gingerbread pancakes in bed or call my favorite salon for a mani-pedi appointment, but I'll be celebrating my doggie motherhood with the best of them — champagne glass (and leash!) in hand.
