Would You Call Your Grown Dog a Puppy?
Over the weekend, I told someone I just met that I had a puppy when asked if I had roommates. My pal overheard and was quick to point out that North is a grown dog.
I wasn't being intentionally deceitful (after all my parents still refer to only-child-me as "the baby" and I'm far from it), and I meant it more affectionately than realistically. Do you ever refer to your pet as a puppy, kitten or other (dare I say) pet names regardless of age? Shh, the poll's anonymous so your secret's safe with me.
