I've spotted a tiny Maltese secretly carried into a Columbus Circle theater and North loves to go to Film Night in the Park, but I can't imagine bringing bigger pups, cats, or naughty/noisy pets of any size to catch an indoor flick. Vienna's Admiral cinema has recently started a Doggy Day to compete with the new multiplex cinemas built nearby – for around $8 a (human) ticket, a pup can go in free and gets a blanket to make the seats more snuggly, too. I'm pretty sure this violates health codes here in the US, but let's pretend for a moment that it didn't – if you could, would you do it?

Hmm.
1My dog would NEVER be able to sit still in a movie theater! He always has to say hi to everyone and sniff everything.
2If they were well behaved why not? Bop loves to go to the drive in (my parents town still has one, it's awesome). And at home he always just curls up when we watch movies.
3My bf and I always joke about sneaking my dog into movies (he's only 8 pounds) but I'm scared to get caught. My dog is so quiet and loves to snuggle in blankies, so I'd do it for sure!!
4If I had a lap dog, I would! It would be just like watching a movie at home. I have lap kitties, but they don't like other animals, or to sit still in new environments.
5My late (and VERY outgoing) Shaded Silver Persian girl would have had an absolute ball. She would quite literally "high five" anybody she met, loved to "talk," and absolutely ADORED dogs, no matter the size. But, either she would have gotten kicked out of the theatre for being a hilariously beautiful distraction, or a not-so-friendly canine would have made her a one-gulp doggy snack! So, no.....
6I've done it!
7(Well Kinda)
I sneak Xander, my 75LB Ridgeback mix, into the drive-in all the time. He even knows to lay down quietly on the floorboard when we're at the entrance. Given the chance, I would ABSOLUTELY take Xander to the movies.
Nah, I don't think they'd really enjoy it. I'd rather leave them at home.
8i don't know that max would really want to go. and as luvthebosox said, my max is very friendly and would want to say hi to everyone..
9Ha Ha Ha that would be great, I would bring Brody just about anywhere if I could.
10I would take my boy shih-tzy Cubby... he's a couch potato and will sit ANYWHERE... Fendi on the other hand would be like the annoying humans that dont stop talking... she would bark and play the night away...
11love the picture in the story.
12haha i don't think so. I don't think the doggies would stay still. They would probably be very annoying.
13No! My dog would never sit still. or stay quiet long enough. Besides I think its inconsiderate.
I dont even wanna sit in the movie theater with bratty kids, let alone barking dogs. And what about people with allergies?! My best friend wouldnt even be able to watch the movie with her eyes all red and swollen. lol
14Paws-sibly...
15No way! If the animals made a boombie during the show it would be so gross! Ack, plus all those dog farts! No thanks!
16Bella is super-mellow and loves to just crash on my lap....she'd be asleep before the intro music even started
