Who's the Cutest Zoo Animal Born in 2008?

We've seen tons of baby animals popping up around the world this year. It was hard to narrow down all the cute to just these nine, but I did it! Take a look at the lil ones and tell me which most deserves the top spot in this poll for the Best of 2008.

It was a tough decision, but I picked the anteater because they really do not get a lot of news as the other animals.

I...can't...CHOOSE!!! Seriously, I am reduced to a cooing mess now. My roommate thinks I've LOST IT. ...to be fair, she's right, but come on!

All of them! I voted for the hippo but I also loved the ant eater as a number two.

...Only 1? By default I voted for the Siberian in Germany, but they are all SO cute!

It was so hard to choose one! I think all the cats are adorable, but I am a sucker for all baby animals!

I hate choosing one! I love the elephant, hippo, zebra, penguin and anteater the most. They're all so sweet! Our zoo just had 2 new oryx babies, one of them was totally unexpected as the mother didn't show any signs. A group of students got to see the birth (our zoo, even when they know about it, always try to let the animals have their babies in their habitat). I'm so jealous I didn't get to see. I love baby animals. They're all so cute

I must say that ALL BABY animals are so damn CUTE - But overall, when you think about size issues the BABY ELEPHANT gets my vote here. They are perfect miniatures of their HUGE parents that it takes my breath away to watch them being gently & lovingly raised by their families. Not listed here (but tied for 1st place) are baby pandas - When born they easily fit in the palm of your hand, have soft fuzz on their bodies & eyes closed... So helpless considering their mothers are big & heavy, only have to roll the wrong way way to squish 'em, but never seem to the more experienced the mothers become. Just makes my heart swell seeing pictures of baby animals.
