In honor of today's big New Moon release, I've been alerted to some (were)wolves — in fact, this whole "wolf pack." Hot. To celebrate the film, take this WolFiction/WolFact quiz and see if you can pick out the wild facts from the wild realities about real wolves.

On the Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota, there are wolfdogs that weren't force bred at all - the locals tend to take them in to protect them from overeager farmers, and I had one in my youth.

Wolves are amazing creatures...there is a park in my area, a drive thru animal park and the first time I saw the wolf was an amazing experience, definetely something everyone should experience.

I love love LOVE wolves! I'd love to own a hybrid one day.... wolfdog. But I know it's a LOT of caring, and you need a HUGE expanse of land for those kind too. Ah, I can dream, can't i?

Awesome quiz. I love wolves too. I've gots some friends and family that have wolf hybrids. They're awesome dogs. The one I got wrong was the biggest dog thing, because I was just thinking about like Great Danes and stuff, I guess I was thinking more like, there's dogs bigger. Oh well, I still love them!

Wolves amaze me. I only got 5/7, but I shouldn't say only. Those are some really cool pictures, aimeeb. I can't say I've ever had wolves in my backyard.

I LOVE wolves. They are so amazing to see in real life. I went to Yellowstone the year wolves were re-introduced (I was 7) so we never got to see any. I want to go back and watch them in the wild
