Tote a Dog With a Hog?

Just when I thought I had heard of everything, I located pet trailers. I'm thinking of driving up to Napa this long weekend, but somehow still can't imagine dragging North along literally . . . with his own hitch. The Wags trailers are completely custom built according to your pup's needs and desires from carpet choices to sliding windows and solar vents. Although I see no reason why these products couldn't be attached to a car, they seem to be geared more towards motorcyclists. I'm not exactly a Harley type of girl (the chopper's noise bothers me), and I can't imagine my doggie would want to ride so close to it either. Even ignoring its $4,000 price tag, I wouldn't dream of having my pet outside the car, but am I just too attached to my little guy? Would your pup enjoy the view from back there?

i think anyone who isnt a motorcyclist should 'nt judge what others do , we have pets we like to bring along aswell as anyone else

I've already used this kind of thing but attached to my cycle! ;) I was on holidays on an Island where cycles were the only way to move all around the island! ;) First, my dog totally hated the idea of being tote in this kind of thing. But after 2 hours, she ADORED it!! ;)

lawchick- No! Everything out of Stephen King's mouth is a terrible lie! :) They are really sweet-tempered dogs, despite their size! Growing up, my family always had Saints, they are big,loyal babies! Their only real drawback, I think, is the slobber.

this doesn't make sense for a car, but for a motorcycle I think it's a good idea. I've seen guys riding with dogs in their sidecar. At least this is enclosed in case of a crash. Hey bikers love their dogs and like to travel with them too!
