It's a Toss Up: Dog (Sort of) Shares Rawhide with Bird

Now many pets are possessive of their snacks but, when I was watching this cute video of a Shiba Inu and a birdie (that looks a lot like former POTD Franklin), I couldn't decide if the dog was contemplating sharing the rawhide with the bird, or if he was just moving around to encourage the flutterer to move on.

My Shiba Inu would have made that bird disappear...FOREVER. This one is definitely a nice one!

my mom's dog and and her bird used to be the best of friends...the bird would ride on the dogs back and there are a ton of pics of them sharing a bone

my dogs do that too. They drop whatever they are eating and wait for the other one to get near it so they could snatch it real fast. hahah cute video

That was pretty interesting. I don't think Bailey would have stood for it, at all. He would go crazy with the bird squaking like that.

As a Shiba Inu Momma, I think that dog is a very good one. She is not getting aggressive with the bird who is coming near her treats. So I think it is great. But also very funny, she isn't getting mean but she still isn't into the idea of sharing.
