With flower-giving holidays right around the corner, I gathered up poison information on popular plants to give or receive. Pretty as they may look around your house, which of these blossoms are poisonous to dogs and/or cats? From roses to daisies, test your knowledge on these 10 flowers when you start the quiz.

I knew that roses weren't toxic to cats becuz my cats used to love to chew on them every time I got them! we had to put them up high & thank God they weren't too adventurous to jump on the fridge to go after them!

There are so many different degrees of toxicity ranging from GI upset (belly aches) to being fatal. I think it's great PetSugar did this quiz. It's VERY important for cat owners to know that ANY part of the lily is toxic ... this is including the pollen. The smallest exposure could potentially be life threatening. If you are unsure of the toxicity of a plant, check out the ASPCA's Animal Poison Control website: www.aspca.org/apcc They have a general list of toxic and non-toxic plants.

We have a pretty boring backyard due to everything being poisonous to dogs, never checked what was for cats. So our front yard is full of everything deadly LOL!

I had calla lilies in my backyard at my old place when my dog was a puppy. Thank goodness he didn't eat them. My bf's cat eats my Gerber daisies whenever I get them :irk:
