I'm always looking for cute pictures to share with you and, when I stumbled upon this, I had to read the photo caption twice . . . it says that a cat gave birth to a dog in Eastern China! Hummm. Ooo-kay. 
Allegedly this lil black pup was born in the Anhui Province with five kitty siblings and all six share the mother cat's milk. Now considering we've seen dogs nursing kittens and even bunnies, I'm not too surprised about the generous mamas but I find it hard (verrrry hard) to believe that this pup came out of that cat's tum! I'm no scientist, but it doesn't seem possible. Are you believing this story?

3First of all, it is genetically impossible for two species that are that different to mate and actually have something come out of it. Its not like you're mixing breeds its different SPECIES!! It would be like a human and an ape having a baby together.
Second of all, even if it was possible the fact that the rest of the litter is kittens makes it that much more unlikely. The cat would need to go through heat twice within days and really get around!
Other than that the pictures are really cute though and good for the cat for taking care of a needy puppy! Who says cats and dogs can't get along!

20Highly unlikely, but this is not the first such story. A while back we saw pictures of a dog supposedly given birth to a cat. These pictures may be doctored. But they are adorable.
21They probably had a litter of puppies at the same time and the cat adopted this little puppy!
