I keep a water bowl full at all times at my house, and since I have two, I swap them out daily so they get cleaned regularly. My dogs drink so much water - I have to fill it up a couple times a day.
1I have a water fountain for my cat. I originally got it because she was constantly trying to drink from the sink faucet, and once I got it and I saw how much she was now drinking I realized she hadn't been getting enough fresh water from her bowl.
