Professional Pet Photography Tips

When asked what it's like working with one of the cutest dogs around, LeMaistre shared:

"Boo is playful and sweet and definitely has no idea what the hubbub is all about. I have photographed dogs that respond to the attention of being in the spotlight, and Boo is just 'being himself' without any agenda.

"He is also every bit as charming to work with as his images suggest. As long as his friend Buddy and his owner are present, he is happy for a reasonable amount of time. If his owner is encouraging him with sweet words, he poses for the camera without the use of treats or other incentives. Typically, though, while shooting, there are a few people behind me making all sorts of cooing, whistling, and bizarre squeaking sounds. If an onlooker were to pass by, our little crew would seem completely nuts!"
