Pampered Pals: Scoop-N-Sift

Attention kitty owners! Are you willing to forgo that shovel of years past, and invest in a SmartScoop Scoop-N-Sift ($3.99)? To use, simply scoop clumps using the solid half and then rotate to the slotted side to shake, shake, shake that litter out . . . kinda like a litter maraca! That way when you swiftly sift the clumps, you reduce the amount of litter wasted – thinking way back to my days with Precious, I remember that it can be tricky to get rid of excess clean litter without losing the clump using the slotted shovel. This price isn't that much more than a traditional scooper so, tell me, which would you use?

I love my kitty's litter box. It is 3 trays, 2 are solid like normal trays and 1 is like a big sifter the 2 solid ones stay on the bottom the cifter one on top you pour your litter in like normal and then when you need to clean the box you lift up the top sifter tray and all the clean litter falls through to the middle solid tray and you toss what the sifter catchs. then place sifter in empty tray pour clean litter from middle tray on top and put on the lid all this takes less than 5 minuets. I bought the automatic one and found that one of my cats tried to out poop it til' it just kept jamming

kitty litter is dusty and makes me sneeze just pouring new into the box. i most certainly would not like to shake up dirty kitty litter, sounds yucky

For the price, I would probably try it out...my kitty is so tiny and only has tiny little clumps so it might be worth a shot :)

I'd definitely give it a shot. We have an automatic litter box but sometimes I have to use the shovel. I'd definitely try this, especially at this price.

it might take a little getting used to, but it's worth a try at $3.99.

When I scooped, I used a very large metal scooper because the wet clumps get HUGE. This would not have worked for me at all. The litter clumps would have covered the slots and the loose litter on top of the clumps would then be trapped inside. Thankfully my litter-scooping days are over anyhow. :meow:
