Pampered Pals: Pet Tube

Although at first glance this reminded me of a popup laundry basket from Ikea, checking out the Pet Tube strapped into a car seat shed a whole new light on this creative animal carrier. Now I haven't seen the "heavy duty fabric" closeup so I can't vouch for tooth or clawproof capabilities, but it does fold conveniently for easy storage and transport when not in use. This seems to be a useful creation for small ($80) or large ($150) pets that will be content not struggling to stay in this well-ventilated spot...with the optional cushion pillow ($30-$95), of course. North already has his own carseat so I'm not rushing out to buy another, but share your thoughts on this item in the comments below!

I just prefer a car seat for dogs and cats. Much safer. My cats have a carrier that sits in the seat and can be buckled in. petcoupe.

I really like it. Izzi could run back and fourth but stay in the back. I also have the problem that her hair gets everywhere and this would contain it. I have this thing that it hooks to her collar and suctions to the window. But she can pull it off.

My doggie seatbelt does my pup just fine. :)

Christina23559, your pug sounds like my sisters pug. He does the exact same thing. He also cries like crazy when she gets out to pump gas. I think I would use this if I was going on long trips with my kitties, it would give them a chance to see out.

Am I the only one that doesn't put their dog in a carrier of some sort to take their dog around town? Unless Roxy gets scared of something, she usually stays in the back seat.
