I'm fairly DIY, but not quite this much . . . so I've got to rely on the talents of others for those really one-of-a-kind items. If you want to make a pup stand out at the dog park, this handmade piece would be a nice addition to any growing collection. Mimi Green's Etsy shop offers collars and leashes in unique fabrics – they'll even handstitch your pet's name onto the collar to add that extra touch of personalization. And, for those into the whole matchy matchy thing, the seller will custom make a leash to coordinate with your chosen neckpiece, too.

FYI, you can get all kinds of handmade collars, bowls, leashes, you name it- on eBay. There are lots of people that make them at home, and they take requests. prices are super-reasonable, and they are one of a kind!
1I've thought about ordering an embroidered collar for my cat. I don't like dangling tags...too easy to get caught on things.
