The 2011 Westminster Dog Show [1] is under way — are you watching? This year, there are a whopping six breeds making their debut at the show. Get ready to meet them all, and stay tuned for the winners of each group!

Boykin Spaniel

These pups, which are members of the sporting group, are the official state dog of South Carolina. They're gentle, compassionate, and loyal.

Bluetick Coonhound

These hounds are athletic, determined, and hard-working; they're happiest when they have a task, so keep these pups busy!

Redbone Coonhound

Also members of the hound group, these dogs are smart, easy to train, and eager to please. What's not to like?

Cane Corso

This pup is an ancient Italian breed and member of the working group. They're intelligent and affectionate, and even better, they're very light shedders!

These working dogs are gentle giants and make great family pets. They're friendly, calm, and sweet and are often used as therapy dogs.
