Although Loki couldn't walk the red carpet since Mickey Rourke's beloved Chihuahua passed away last week, I did spot a familiar face on that necklace.Seems not only does he keep this pup close to his heart, he wears her face on a charm around his neck. Since he didn't pick up a golden statue last night, I also noticed his necklace at the weekend's Independent Spirit Awards, when he nearly teared up mentioning his "baby."

I have a whole new perception of who is Mickey Rourke? Anyone who can love animals this much can't be all bad. I always thought he was a hardcase...who knew that under that angry looking exterior was a guy with the heart of a marshmellow. I wish him very very best and pray that God continues to hold him in the cup of His hand as he walks out his destiny/purpose with the rest of us.

It's cute, and a nice way to rememeber departed love muffins. I swear if I was a big-time movie star I would bring my pup everywhere too (although granted, my recently departed love muffin was about 60lbs so she would have probably gotten her own seat! She was a lot of muffin).
