I had an irish setter growing up who loved when you played with his toes, and he would constantly be giving you paw. Finally my mom started painting his toenails when she had the nail polish out. He loved the attention and rocked pink nails quite a bit.

Not sure my cat growing up would have been a fan - I think the smell would have sent him running.

Those look like Soft Paws nail caps, not painted nails. www.softpaws.com has claw covers for cats that blunt their scratching making them a great alternative to declawing and they come in fun colors that make a cat look they've had their nails done.

Have to agree with Aquanta, I used to use those with my kitty back when she was really bad about "playing" with the other cats using her claws.

My Turkish Angora Isabelle is fully de-clawed, so that's a non-issue for us!

I agree, they look like Soft Paws (which is what I use on my cat, Heidi. I clicked "cute" because it's a much better way to get your cat to NOT scratch at your things or yourself!
