Gracie's bowls are on a stand, but they were also 9.99 at Marshall's. The stand is also coated metal, so slobber won't raise water spots and *gasp* ruin it!

I'm a dog groomer, and these bowls actually serve a purpose. When dogs eat from bowls off of the ground it is very uncomfortable for them. Kinda like I guess if you were eating squished into a little ball or something. This is actually easier on the pet's spinal cord..but of course just don't get it taller than your pet.

I like the idea of this, but I don't like the actual design. Plus, it's a little expensive and I don't think that my Dorkie (Dachsaund/Yorkie, he was an accident no a designer dog) is tall enough for that.

That set is overpriced and needlessly expensive, but my big dalmatian has a stand for his food bowls, and my lab puppy will get a taller one when he gets bigger, too.
