Have You Ever Owned a Reptile or Amphibian?

Even if you're not herpetophobic, have you ever invited a reptile or amphibian into your home as a pet? From frogs and salamanders to lizards and snakes, I'd love to hear the type and name in the comments below, too!

I have a turtle that will turn 12 this August. She keeps life interesting and she even has a stuff animal that she sleeps with, yes she is spoiled.

When I say "yes" I really mean, had a goldfish for about two hours prior to its untimely (or maybe it was timely, I have no idea) demise... I have a long standing phobia of snakes... anyone know what the word for that one is??

I HAVE NO REPTILE PETS, MIGHT ONE DAY HAVE AN IGUANA, BUT NO SNAKES...EWW, EUEN THE WORD "SNAKE" CREEPS ME OUT.

Yes, we have a leopard Gecko named Geico. I haven't put his profile up yet. He is so cool! And he's not scared of people because he's been handled so much. One time he escaped and my husbands hunting dog heard him in the floor vent, or he would have died for sure.

I currently have a king snake(mr blonde), a corn snake(kernel), a box turtle(mookie), a pair of red eared sliders(sam & ella), a gargoyle gecko(stone), and a rose hair tarantula(mr pink). I've had in the past a tiger salamander(goober), a albino bullfrog(hippo), 2 fire bellied toads(mike & ike), a pair of leopard frogs(good & plenty), quite a few white's tree frogs(hic-cups, yoda, smeagol, and 2 we collectively called skittles), an iguana(smoosh), a fire skink(sinder). I currently work for a herpetologist so it's a bit of a case of bring work home with me at this point. ;)

When I was around..7ish We had 7 iguanas,now that I'm 20 we have ( his aren`'t just mine) 2 iguanas,4 turtles,2 water dragons and 1 boa constrictor
