My boyfriend (who goes to the gym 5 days a week) is always stressing how exercise is not only good for your body but its a workout for your mind too! He says it ensure he sleeps great, he has masses of energy for work (an electrician) and as he's recently returned to college, it helps his concentration levels. I have had enough of him promoting exercise so my new years resolution is to join him! and I must say, although its tough, you feel amazing afterwards!! not to mention the rise in sex drive! ;)

My resolutions are to live a healthier lifestyle (exercise 30 minutes a day and eat copious amounts of veggies and fruit), reduce my debt, and find a job or hobby that is inspiring (fingers crossed).

My new year's resolution is to eat smarter and get back to running. The more I read about processed foods, especially carbohydrates, the more I believe that carbs should come from natural foods: produce, nuts, and some dairy. I'm also going to get back to running because it's a great workout, and it's also good for socializing. My area offers 5Ks every weekend, and they are a great way to meet people and give back to the community since most 5Ks are for nonprofits. In this economy, the nonprofits are struggling, so by getting healthier, I can also make a positive impact on my community.

Last year was about trial and error, and figuring out what my weaknesses are. This year is about strengthening my weaknesses. I have spent many years putting work into my self, to better myself and teach myself all the things I missed when I was younger, as well as undo the damage of my childhood. This year, I am learning to organize my self and my life. Part of that organization is scheduling myself, and part of that will include some serious exercise. I am an active person and love enjoyable work-outs. Although I wanted to get the special edition red console Wii for Xmas, I had no such luck, plus I lost my job. I still have much studying to focus on, as I am planning to pass a very difficult licensing exam this year. Winning this Wii would be so great for me, would help me with my goals for this year, and would be an awesome Xmas present!
