EcoPure Bacon and Chedder Pet Appetite Enhancer: Spoiled Sweet or Spoiled Rotten?

Many pet owners have pooches that eat too fast but there are still plenty of spices and sauces to make a meal more savory for your finicky friends.

It's no secret that bacon's a perennial fave with pups everywhere (and my dog can't get enough of cheese) so the two base flavors totally make sense. However, this EcoPure Appetite Enhancer ($7) is simply an aroma spray with about 0.1 calories per spritz and little added flavor. It relies on pets' strong sense of smell – even if you think it would appeal to your pets, does this product appeal to you?

I know how you feel! My pup is not a fan of her kibble and I've gradually changed it a few times. I asked a local pet store for ideas, and they recommended a variety of small bags of holistic freeze dried chicken, beef, liver and fish to sprinkle over the food, but for the $14 price tag, I decided to just buy real chicken and put bits of shredded chicken meat and juices in a container mixed with her kibble and it worked well. I just try to I refrigerate some and use during the week. This spray might be something to look into. I wonder whether there are any preservatives or additives?

I'd definitely try this - it seems like a good find to help get my puppy more interested in his dry food. I've tried mixing it with the wet food which gets him to eat some, but he leaves most the dry food behind.

I'd use this, too. I've been trying to wean Fuji off the the bad dog food into organic dog food but he just doesn't like the stuff. Maybe this will help? I think this is a good idea for the vitamins that I feed Fuji, too.

It seems I am always trying to get my girl to eat. I've tried the savory sauces. She licks all the gravy off and leaves the food! I've recently switched her food and that worked...for a day. I would try this in a heartbeat, as a matter of fact, i am off to order some.

I've used Iams savory sauces for a while, but they expired so quickly before we could even use it all!
