My doggie has short hair, so it just gets a bit thinner in the summer.

This is my first summer with Oliver, so I don't know if I will bring him in for a lion cut. I'm hoping that I don't have to. He's got a stunning coat! Besides, he's got obnoxiously large moobies. I don't know that I would like to see those things slapping around for nine months while his coat grows back! ;)

I do luv when my lil guy is long and fluffy but he just gets too hot...we recently got him cut waaaaaaay down...he still too cute.

I want to get our doxie Ladybird shaved for summer, but I don't want to go so short her skin gets sunburned. This is our first summer with a dog, so we're unsure about how to go about it - anyone have any advice?

Ms. Raja is a husky... first summer we've had her and I knew they shed when it got warm..... but i was not prepared for what is going on right now! It looks like fluffy cotten all over our house (we have hard wood floors go figure). I've stopped trying to keep them clean till the sheddings over- there's no point!!

My puppy just got a short do. I love him fluffy, but it's cooler for him in the summer.

The dogs have their summer hair cuts right now. We trim them very short for the hot LA summers, and they stay much cooler.

I've got a short hair, but I must say I usually like the shorter puppy cuts on dogs. Long hair looks so high maintenance!

All our 3 doggies have short hair (YAY) and so does one of our cats. The other one is going to start getting shaved pretty soon to cut down on his CRAZY shedding...

my mutt doesn't really have a hair-do- he just sheds all summer long :)

Yes my boys get groomed year round and we usually keep it a little long b/c it looks cute but in the summer they get practically shaved so they can swim and keep cool without getting too matted!
