Last week, I shared North's unsightly tear stain problem and several users suggested offering him purified or Brita-filtered water. I'll admit, I have been offering him drinks from the tap most of the time (unless we're on an adventure, then he gets bottled). This sounded like an easy fix and I've attached a filter to my faucet so he'll be getting fresh water from now on. How many of you consistently give your pets bottled or filtered water on a day-to-day basis?

She usually always get tap water, but sometimes if I have a half full bottle of water beside my bed I throw that in her water dish too.
My cats have a Drinkwell Fountain that keeps their water fresh and filtered. I fill it once a week with bottled water. It takes 10 bottles!! Some people say they spoil their pets, or that their pets get nothing but the best, but I mean it.
I live in an area that is voted best water in the world so of course that is what we drink. To buy it bottled i think its called budweiser!!......but i also give green tea a couple of times a week, he has his own little pot for brewing his own little spot of tea, he drinks it plain after it cools down.
I'm the same as you, Pet. From the sink mostly, but bottled water when we're out on walks or in the car. I may try putting a filter on the faucet, though, as it seems easier than using the Brita pitcher all the time.
We always have people over constantly and no one really finishes their entire bottle of water, so those go to my kittens.
I give my kitty filtered water...But..He prefers to get into the sink, which is half cute, half bad. He also can be found sticking his head into the waterglass on my nightstand. That's definately filtered.
The pups and I drink from the Brita pitcher.
i currently do not have any pets but my cats used to get tap water
We have a filter on the tap, so it's automatic.
Mine always always always get purified/bottled water due to the water source where I live. We are down stream from Rocketdyne/Boeing and their chemicals have been known to seep into the pipes, so it is bottled water for us and the dogs all of the time.
We're in an area with really decent water so they don't get anything fancy.
