I've raved about my fave so now it's your turn to tell me what you look for in a boarding facility – from special touches like phone calls or email updates to make you comfortable to pampering ways to let pets feel like kings and queens, what special features do you want when you need to get away without a furry friend?

When I got to travel or if I go somewhere where Polka can't come with me, my parents watch her! ;) They're so in love with her so everytime she goes there, she comes on with new toys and stuff! ;)

When I was in Chicago, we took our puppy to Camp Bow Wow in Oak Park. The outside doesn't look like much but they are truly phenomenal! They let all the dogs play with one another, and they have different areas for big dogs, medium dogs, and little guys so that nobody gets trampled. The place is summer camp themed so it's completely adorable, and they have a webcam so that you can watch your puppy playing from wherever you are!

When I have to travel for work, I take my dog to Cha Cha's Doggie Daycare. They have a webcam so I can check in from far away and they give me a report card when I pick him up. I also love that it's a cage-free facility so he's playing with other dogs all day and is totally pooped by the time I pick him up.

When we're in the Santa Barbara area we take B-Bop to Dioji and he just LOVES it there. They have a bone shaped pool, video streaming so you can see your pup swimming, really good groomers and SUPER awesome staff. We only come like once a month but they alaways remember B-Bop. i love that

YAY, that's a Chin in the pic! :medal: My parents are my boarding facility. :P We have so many dogs that it would cost a small fortune to board them all. It sucks for weddings and funerals though b/c someone has to stay home to watch the dogs.

I fell in love with my kennel when they realized our pup is pretty anxious and let her run around the facility after hours. :)

We send our dog to doggie day care. She gets so excited when we get there, and the staff is goofy about her because she's so "polite." I like that they let me go into the back with them to pick her up so I can see her playing with the other dogs.
