Holiday decorations can be pretty exciting for indoor animals. Christmas tree lights and delicate decorations do look a lot like shiny pet toys, don't they?
A friend of mine sent me this picture of her two sweet kitties snuggling under the tree and I couldn't help but chuckle when I realized my pup, North, would never sit still under flickering lights for a photoshoot. Do your pets flock to your tree or do they ignore it?

My cats sit IN the tree. I wish I could find a picture of it, it's pretty cute.
1every year, without fail, my cat and my mom's cats snuggle up to sleep under the tree. it makes for some adorable photo shoots! when they were kittens they used to play in the wrapping paper. not so much anymore.
2Ignores it... She does like chewing on shiny wrapping paper though. (?)
3yep! especially the cat.
4We didn't have room to put the tree up, but the past two years my cat has slept under the tree and hid under there to attack us. He never climbed the tree (thank God!)
5The dogs ignore it mostly. The cats on the other hand....they climb in it, around it, up it, through it, knock it over, and generally make it their home until it gets taken down.
6Sadie(in my avatar) has loved rolling around under the tree this year. She uses it like it's a back scratcher.
7This year was Logan's first Christmas and he didn't have much interest in the tree, just in the shiny bows on the presents underneath it!
